After dealing with multiple issues sidelining me from working out on my own, a pandemic making things more complicated, and months of physical therapy, I reached out to Trey at Midtown Trainers. I knew if we could work around the physical limitations there were plenty of exercises I could do but, I didn’t know what those were. Day 1 started with a free consultation with the owner (Trey). He and Jay took the time to ask about my personal fitness goals, preferred schedule and frequency of workouts. They put together a workout program that was tailored to my interests and also fit within my budget; truly a white-glove experience. Working at with Jay has been incredible. At the start, Jay learned that I suffered from lower back pain due to the long hours I spend sitting from my desk. I just completed Week 8 of training with Lipton and could not be more pleased with the results. First off, what a great person he is.
I feel that he genuinely cares for my health and wellness. He has challenging workouts ready to go each day yet will mix in a much needed day of stretching focus when my body needs it (physically or mentally). Outside of our daily weekday workouts, he's always encouraging me to make one of the weekend days active as well, including competitive 5K races or just running or yoga at Piedmont Park. He's also consistently inquiring about non-fitness activities - be it my "me time" (meditation) or food & nutrition practices. All of this certainly makes it easier to suck it up in the early morning and hit it hard.
In the past 8 weeks, I have lost about about 14 pounds while gaining muscle mass and very obvious body shape transformation. Several have shown amazement and acknowledgement that my face is thinner, my waist is smaller, and my arms & legs are firmer. My clothes certainly feel better these days. I attribute this positive transformation to Lipton and Midtown Trainers and look forward to continuing it.

Midtown trainers is a great place to find your path to recovery from hernia post surgery.
After my hernia surgery, it was difficult to train again by myself. There were pains that came with dizziness and the feeling of passing out that made impossible to exercise after the surgery and also, energy levels were very low and I spend most time laying down in my bed, always tired, always sleepy.
After 2 years of trying to do it by myself, I found Midtown trainers. They had a battery of trainers that were able to design a fun, specific and rehabilitating training program that is bringing my body back into shape while avoiding getting hurt on the surgery area, brought my energy to higher levels and I have trainers close to me that in case I feel dizzy or pass out, there will be someone available to address the situation.
I want to specially thank the Midtown Trainers team, from the management side Trey and Mrs Robinson for opening these possibilities for me and the team of trainers, specially Lipton Lee, as he is my current trainer, always there, always making my training efficient, safe and fun.

Midtown Trainers off Piedmont Road, has been the best rebirth experience for my weight loss journey. My original goal was to lose 30 lbs. I am down 33+ lbs!!!! All within 8 weeks doing the energy workouts! The owner Trey is truly deciatcated in his gym. It's a very personalized experience with knowledgeable trainers and staff who spend time to get to know you, your body/health, goals and develop customized plans tailored for you and your needs. I’m really enjoying my time here doing the H.A.T.S. program. I was in a car accident with a tractor trailer, and have only been able to lift 2lbs for over a year. Just two weeks in the program I’m able to comfortably do 10lb weights. A random dog came charging at me, and I was able to lift my 65lb husky and run away with him in my arms.
