I have had over eight German shepherds, and each time I’ve gotten a trainer. I can tell you that Marko is probably one of the very best trainers I have ever experienced. He has great instincts regarding dogs, temperament and personality. From the minute he walks through the door our dogs knew who was in charge. He’s very gentle with the dogs but they are aware that he is in charge and he is the alpha . It’s a gift he has and I recommend him highly for any breed of dog that one might have. He is also very good at training us humans as to how to follow through and deal with our dogs in a kind, humane way, but in a strong way. My latest German Shepherd Lola responded beautifully to his training and she was young when I gave her to him. I’m going to wait another year and I’m going to have more training sessions with him again with Lola and myself for a brush up course. I know Lola will be excited as she loves Marko. More...

Being alpha means being a good leader to your dogs, you are doing so wonderfully in taking care to be observant , handle with intention, and really doing the work after training is done which is crucial to any training program. Thank you so much for your response to training here ! Roadie was a joy to work with. Knowing his recall was extremely important, he worked with us on that daily, along with all of the other skills needed to learn to be a better behaved pup ( not that he was a bad dog LOL) He is welcome to train or train and play with us anytime you need to!

Marko is a pleasure. My wife and I are very pleased with the results So far. My dogs are easy to train, my wife and I not so much.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy watching the transformations in dogs occur. Whether its a puppy learning to become social, to learning its first commands, a dog learning advanced commands OR, seeing dogs transform from fear / bad behaviors into a balanced and well adjusted dog, ALL of these things are what makes my job so worth while! I wouldn't be telling you it all, if I didn't say how much I also enjoy the Pet Parent relationship that forms during the process. Helping the " HOOMANS" out is always another bonus in the mix!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years in the dog grooming world, with Training being a part of it, I have decided to switch the gears around and actually work the other end of the spectrum I have worked in a more full time basis.

I ask in my initial contact response, for pet parents to review my website and contact me after, because the connection and ability to work together in your dogs development is CRUCIAL to the success of your investment in your dog training coach!
I am not a ONE WAY kinda trainer.
I am a very FLEXIBLE trainer.
I understand the difference between being a Pack Leader, and Being a Team Leader, and when each applies to a dogs development!
Why I choose these as key points, is to address a common trend out there where people are about ONE WAY is the way to train and " everything you always learned about training is wrong" now .
I believe in working part " Old school ' and part " New School in thought. (Balanced Training) The reason for this, is that no one dog is the same! what works for one, isn't the required need for another dog in order to get them to respond, or learn the training at hand.

Dog Training Hourly Sessions
I offer Hourly Sessions, either as a guide to you the owner or as the handler one on one with your dog. These sessions are ideal for solving a specific problem if you request ONE session, or a package of Sessions for learning Basic Obedience and Advanced Obedience.
I offer two options for hour sessions as some owners are not comfortable with the training portion of the process, but once their dog has been taught a command, can reinforce whats been learned through the week until the next session.
Day Train Sessions ( 3 week + Day Packages )
I offer Day Training sessions , to offer owners the option to have me work with their dog in a hybrid board and train style of training. The day Train is more intense training each day and your pup is returned to you one our workday is through to reinforce behaviors learned with you each day at home. (PLEASE INQUIRE DIRECT from our website link on this site for availability of day training during extreme weather condition times ( June - Sept )
Puppy Consultations 1 hour
This can be done in person or via Zoom.
This is ideal for people looking to get better aquainted with a trainer and answer some basic questions about your current training needs.
We also cover feeding, crate training and specific requests you may have.
Board and Train 3 week min
We offer Board and Train services, at a minimum of a 3 week time Frame, longer sessions available for situations that require more attention. PLEASE INQUIRE DIRECT from our website link on this site for availability of This Service
Stay and Train
This service is offered once your dog has completed training with us, and is ideal for families that dont want to board their dog in a facility and want their training maintained post training while they are away.
