Absolutely thrilled with Jeffrey's performance as Tony Bennett! My siblings and I hired him for our father’s retirement party, and he was a tremendous hit.

Jeffrey arrived on time, set up his props and began by immediately getting thr children involved and excited about magic. How long have you been interested in magic?
I've been interested in magic and performing since I was ten years old.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
In the hypnosis show, The Hypno Party, I open with about twenty minutes of magic, which "explains" hypnotic phenomena...like "hypnotizing" a balloon so I can pierce it with a long steel needle without popping, or performing a card trick with a deck you can see only in your subconscious mind. Then we do some fun "suggestibility tests," to see who is most likely to be hypnotized. After that, I call for volunteers to be the hypnotic "stars" of the show. Whether imagining they have eleven fingers, gyrating like Elvis, thinking I'm their favorite rock star, or petting their shoe like a puppy, everyone loves to explore the magic of their own subconscious mind. If I'm doing a magic show, as things transform, appear, or disappear, I may ask, "Are you seeing real magic...or am I just hypnotizing you?" For my kids shows, I do the kinds of silly things kids 4-10 enjoy, like making "mistakes" which they have to help me "fix" by magic. But there's always something to mystify adults as well. So my show is for all ages, tailored to the specifics of your particular group. For kid shows, I also do balloon animals twisting and send everyone home with a great souvenir.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to see the smiles on the faces of my audience. I have as much fun in my shows as they do. I've been entertaining all my life, ever since I was a kid myself, as a magician, actor and singer. When I worked as a special effects makeup artist in the movies, I was still just a big kid, having fun fooling people with my makeup illusions. We live today in challenging times. If I can help you forget your troubles for a while, and give you confidence in your own power of believe, I've done something good for the world. That's important to me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been a self-starter who thinks a little outside of the box. I like being a team player, so I enjoyed working in theater and the movies. But I also like to be the captain of my own ship.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a theater performer, you become very good at engaging with audiences. You can sense whether they are having a good time or not, and you know to adjust what you are doing to make sure they do. I think of myself as a fisherman, whose job is to reel you in for a good time.

I can do magic or hypnosis over Zoom. Online parties are becoming a big part of our lives, and I expect that to remain the case for the forseeable future.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am triple vaccinated and boosted. I test regularly. I change protective covers on my microphone every show and sanitize it with UV light. I prefer audiences to mask, but don't require it. That's just too hard today politically. But I encourage hosts to remind their guests to stay home if they don't feel well, and to offer a mask option.

Children's Magic and Balloon Twisting
I spent many years in my younger days as the leading magic-clown on Chicago's North Shore. I have hung up my red nose and floppy shoes...but I'm still just as funny! I do a colorful, energetic, audience participation magic show aimed at the comprehension and sense of humor of 4 to 10 year olds. I don't hypnotize the little ones; but I do explain to them how hypnosis makes whatever they imagine seem real to them. So they will wonder: Was it magic, or are they hypnotized? This really holds their attention! Even older kids and adults will find themselves mystified as well. I typically end my magic show with balloon animal twisting, so all the kids go home with a great souvenir. Typically, I do 45 minutes of magic and 15-30 minutes of balloon twisting, depending on the size of the group.
