So happy to be in my cozy gorgeous emptynest space thanks to Amy and her God given talents tonight. Truly feel like God led us to work with Amy at this specific time in our lives as our last daughter flew out of our nest. We decided to downsize and leave the burbs and start our new chapter. What’s your interior design process?
It’s a simple process! I listen to my clients needs, make suggestions and we come up with a total budget up front that works for the scope of the job together that my clients feel comfortable with. I don’t charge by the hour so unlike many other designers, there are no hidden fees or hourly fees to add up. So you know your all in price after our initial consultation. I give my clients options for all the “big ticket items” (large furniture pieces, rugs, etc) so that they feel confident that they will love the end result and I make myself readily available with excellent responsiveness! At the end of the selection process, I receive all the items and we schedule a full install day where I come to your home or business and install everything with my team while you get to kick back and relax and then come into fully designed and styled spaces you will love! I LOVE WHAT I DO AND I AM ENTHUSIASTIC AND FUN TO WORK WITH .
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I can cater to all tastes and style preferences! I will give guidance on what is current and classic and offer my professional skills to ensure you get a fabulous design , but I won’t try to convince you that my taste should be yours!
What do you love most about your job?
I love making people happy and comfortable in their spaces whether it’s your home or business, it’s so important to feel joy and satisfaction where you live and work. Our environment inspires us, but I can also weigh us down mentally if you are not satisfied with the overall aesthetic. It is SO important to surround yourself in an environment that makes you feel a sense of pride, happiness, relaxation and inspiration to live and work well! In these crazy times where home and work may be the same location, it has never been a better time to create a fabulous, functional and gorgeous space for you to enjoy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up with in a family in New York that designed and built gorgeous custom homes and then styled them, so homes and interiors are in my blood. After years of being a stay at home mommy, my business happened very organically. I did a home for a friend or two, and then that branched out to more and more and this love of design “hobby” became a full blown fabulous business where I get to still be a full time mother and wife and own an incredible business of my dreams where I meet the most AMAZING clients. I was able to have some of my work features on HGTV! What an awesome experience! I feel so thankful for the opportunity to make people happy in their spaces! It warms my heart to be able to use a talent that I have to create spaces that people can enjoy and be proud of for years to come.
