Had some trouble with my first trainer not seeming reliable and not communicating, but after speaking with my care coordinators I was able to be matched with a new trainer, Cal, and everything was amazing from then on. Michael Jackson was my dog, Kobi’s, trainer and he did a phenomenal job. Kobi is a different pup. In 3 weeks Michael Jackson was able to curb and practically eliminate some of the typical bad habits my dog had prior to being trained with Michael. He did great work. THERESA!!!!! This program was worth every penny. My dog, had terrible separation anxiety and fear based aggression/reactivity, but Theresa worked her magic. Charlie came back a well-mannered, confident dog. He no longer barks at strangers, is getting more comfortable with being in a crate, and actually listens (not just when he wants to). Theresa gave us so many resources, was always there to answer questions (before, during, AND after the program), and continues to check up on my pup. The first thing I have to say is that walking with Logan now is absolutely amazing and peaceful now. He is no longer pulling on the leash and is no longer reactive to other dogs. Before it was nerve wracking. Second communication with Cal was flawless. I was nervous about letting Logan go but Cal ensured that he treated Logan like his own and sent update at a timely manner. Cal was extremely professional polite but also honest. He have shown genuinely care for Logan and for us. The first time when Logan came back and show reactivity he handled it with care and confidence. I wouldn't dare recommending any other trainer than Cal and your company as a whole. The experience have definitely changed my trust in dog trainer . Before I was nervous due to a lot of negativity that was spread across about board and training program from the past. Now due to Cal I recommend anyone who has dog training issues to reach out to your company and him. Especially since the move ,my fiancee and I were extremely nervous due to the high population of dog and people. I can't say enough good things about Dogwise Academy and our trainer, Njoud! She worked wonders with my puppy, Nala. Before training, Nala struggled with potty training, recall, and chewing on everything in sight. Now, she waits until I let her out to go potty—such a relief since I work and go to school and didn't have time to train her properly. The nipping and chewing have completely stopped, and her recall has improved so much!

What I really appreciate is that Njoud will be coming back after four weeks to check on Nala’s progress and make any needed adjustments. That level of commitment and follow-up shows how much she cares about both the dogs and their owners. Dogwise made the process of enrolling my pup in their training very simple. They were always available to either text, email or call if I have any questions. I definitely would recommend them to anyone that needs pup training if any sort.
I was very hesitant to board my puppy as she is my first puppy. But I had the pleasure to work with an awesome trainer “Theresa”. She was so understanding of my concerns, addressed any concerns I had, sent me progress texts and videos to keep me in the loop. My puppy looked happy and well taken care of.

I cant sing Dogwise and Jen's praises enough! They were super responsive to my inquiries in the beginning, they even had options on payments and plans. They followed up with me and addressed all of my concerns. Jen picked my puppy up as promised, she was timely and professional. She also gave me all of the comfort that I needed to be comfortable with sending my puppy away for 2 weeks. We were CONSTANTLY updated on his progress. Our experience with Wise Acadamy was great. The trainer they paired us with Njoud Aghabi was a perfect fit for us. She was amazing with our dog Leah. Njoud was professional, knowledgable in her craft. She has lots of experience. She was loving, and caring to Leah meeting all her needs and ours. Dogwise Academy is a good company it was seamless to enroll my puppy in the program. The weekly report cards was informative. I received several phone calls,emails and texts to address any concerns I had. Rina Sullivan is an amazing dog trainer. I am very pleased with her training methods. Rina boarded my puppy Sky, for 7 weeks; through 2 hurricanes. Sky is a high energy, head strong, yet loving, 5-month, 50 lbs. Black Mouth Cur/German Shepherd mix; with an attention span of about 10 seconds. Rina not only taught Sky the essentials commands, she came home potty trained! Rina's love for what she does was/is demonstrated in the great care Sky received. I was able to track Sky's process through the numerous videos and daily reports Rina sent. This put my mind at is ease as I was able see my fur baby. Rina is also generous with her time, before and after Sky return home. Always answering any questions I had/have and making helpful suggestions, as well as having follow training sessions with me at home.

I contacted Dogwise after getting a new 6 month old German Shepherd. I have never potty trained a dog in my life. I was up for a challenge so I decided to contact Dogwise after searching online. Dog wise put me in contact with my dog trainer Mrs. Njoud. She was absolutely awesome with my puppy K.O.. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience trainer. I’m so grateful for the care and attention that Njoud from Dogwise gave our Shiba Inu. Shiba’s are notoriously sensitive and ours took some time to get adjusted to a new surrounding. I had the absolute best experience with Dogwise Academy. My dog was placed with Jen and lived with her family and dogs for 3 weeks. Jen was so good with my dog, Luna, and Luna became a more socialized dog interacting with her dogs. Luna very quickly learned the commands and expected behavior and came back a different dog. Jen sent daily pictures and videos, weekly reports and is available anytime to discuss any questions or concerns that we had. Jen lives over an hour away and reached out to me a few days ago to ask if she could stop by to see Luna. Luna was so excited to see her which warmed my heart. Briggs and a rough start in life. He was found tied to a fire hydrant, showing signs of physical abuse and severe starvation. We took care of his physical needs and helped him gain weight, but we struggled with training hi. Briggs was very reactive, not fully house trained, refused to go in the crate, and was difficult to walk. Everything changed when Tressie entered our lives; she was truly a godsend for Both Briggs and our family. Briggs stayed with Tressie for 4 weeks and returned a completely different dog., fitting perfectly back into our family. Tressie was transparent throughout the process, sharing daily training videos and communicating with us promptly. Not only was Briggs trained, but we were also educated on how to continue his training. Tressie trained our 6 month old puppy for two weeks. He has been back for two days now and it's like we got a different dog back. I have a two year old son and the dog hasn't nipped at him, knocked him over and in general has been much better behaved. He goes in his crate willingly and follows commands. The most impressive is when told to go to his place he sits on his cot calmly while I get my son ready for nursery or when a person comes in.... no more jumping!

I was at my wits end and this was a last ditch effort. It honestly feels like the best investment ever. I am not saying he came back perfect but he is like 80% there. More...

Cal was wonderful from start to finish, even before and after our dog, Dixie, was under his care. When we had some reservations about training for so long before she even went to him, he reached out and he made sure all of my concerns and questions were answered. When he came to pick Dixie up, we could tell that he was a kind person, just the way Dixie immediately embraced him and through our conversation and interaction. We were confident that Dixie was in good hands, even though we were sad to let her go.

Cal communicated with us often, sharing training videos and updates daily.

Dixie came home with better leash manners, door manners, and just overall better behaved. She was once very reactive to other dogs when on the leash and she encountered a few over the past couple of days with no problem.

The day Dixie came home, Cal was very thorough in teaching us how to maintain behaviors and continue our part with training at home. Even after she was dropped off, Cal continued to communicate with us to see how she was doing and settling in. It was clear that Dixie and Cal formed a special bond and we will be forever grateful. Max had a high anxiety issue along with not being very sociable, after being with Rina he has come back a new dog, he is more socially engaged and not so skittish anymore. I had the pleasure of working with Cal to address several behavioral challenges with my dog, Nala, including leash walking, excessive barking, jumping on guests, and overall obedience. Cal provided clear, effective guidance that immediately began to make a difference. My dog used to pull constantly on walks and bark at anything that moved, but now walks calmly by my side. The barking has dramatically decreased, and the jumping issue is almost completely gone. Most importantly, my puppy is more obedient and responds to commands much better.

Cal used positive, reward-based training methods, which made the process enjoyable for Nala and I know she enjoyed her time with him. The results have been life-changing, and I couldn’t be happier. Cal C. and his family were a godsend! Before training, my dog (Kota), felt nearly impossible to take anywhere. Walks were always stressful and anxiety inducing. I truly felt helpless as I avoided the elevator and all humans/nonhuman interactions in my apartment complex. I also never had guests over because I was so scared of how Kota would react. WELL, it has been 24 hours of having Kota home (also 24 hours since Cal trained me to communicate with Kota) and I have never been happier to take him on a walk. I literally shed tears the night we got back because I don’t remember ever enjoying a walk with him in his four years of life. I’ve also been able to take the elevator and be confident in his ability to stay composed while people enter and exit the elevator. The main difference between then and now is having the tools to correct his reactivity and having effective communication with Kota for the first time. I’m so excited to enjoy life with him and to show him so much of the world, slowly but surely. He’s not a completely new dog, he is simply less anxious because he was finally shown clear communication. Thanks to Cal I finally know how to communicate clearly with him as well. Best money I spent on my dog! My trainer was Tressie and she was so good with my dog Macy. Macy was quite reactive to dogs and was not leash trained so it was difficult to walk her. Wish I could show before after videos but she has completely changed.
Her walks are now very structured and with the ‘ Leave it’ command, she doesn’t bark at dogs now. I wouldn’t say the reactivity to dogs is completely gone but it’s very manageable. With time, I’m sure it would go away completely.

Cal at Dogwise is the absolute best! We sent our dog Talen to Cal with hopes of lessening his anxiety and aggression toward other dogs, increasing his ability to listen and respond to commands, and learning to be more comfortable around new people (specifically kids). After four weeks with Cal, every hope and expectation has been exceeded. Talen now knows tons of new commands, can go on walks with no issues, and is ready to ease into meeting new people and kids. Cal communicated daily, was incredibly sweet, and worked with Talen in every area we talked about. I was a little hesitant at first being a first time dog owner, and this being my first training experience. Paul and Emalee made the process very simple and comfortable for me. They both took the time to explain the program thoroughly and were there anytime I had a question or concern. My dog was a part of the four week program with the main focus being aggression. The first week was a little challenging since my dog has aggressive tendencies and it was his first time being away from me since 9 weeks old. The trainer Jackson displayed great patience, commitment and communication throughout the whole process. He explained everything in depth and sent me numerous updates throughout the duration of the program. Blue (my dog) behavior has definitely improved and I would without a doubt refer dog wise academy and Jackson to anyone considering dog training for their pup. Before putting my dog Baloo into professional training, I checked out four other sites to see what they offered . What I liked about Dogwise Academy is the fact your puppy goes to the trainers's house and stays with the trainer, in my case three weeks time. Baloo was exposed to other dogs for socialization and for training. The trainer I had was Rina. She was wonderful. She kept me updated daily on what she had been doing with Baloo sending videos of them walking and giving me training tips. When they came back after three weeks, I could see the difference with him. He's a very stubborn American Bully breed but he was better than previously and not pulling me down the street. Rina was available for any questions I had and always promptly returned my texts and emails. She did a long handoff where we walked Baloo together and gave me tips and showed me what he's capable of doing. I would recommend Dogwise Academy just because of the fact they're not locked up and left overnight but live with their trainer. I would recommend Dogwise Academy to anybody who needs to have that extra professional support in training your dog so they adjust to the daily world . More...

I loved working with Dog wise. They did everything I asked them to do. Bailey was my trainer and I loved her. She was so good with my dog and when they say they keep in touch they really do they send you pictures and videos of your dog each week, they worked on his manners his obedience and most of all his aggression for other dogs I was very satisfied with the job they did and they took very good care of my dog. Communication between the trainer, Doribeth, and myself was perfect. She always kept in contact with us on Koda's progress by constantly sending videos, photos, and chatting with us. Not only was communication during the stay beyond amazing but so was it after Koda came back to us! Doribeth's approach was effective and tailored perfectly to our dog's needs.
