Boston's Best Catering

I got the business card from the owner when I was at a friend’s party last spring. I came early to help my friend set up and decorate. This was a served buffet with 4 Italian choices. This was a small party but you would think these guys were catering like a Governor or something formal. They came in dressed in fancy cooking clothes. No talking except politely saying hello. Food was great and I asked for a card. Just so amazing to see this kind of stuff for a small party. Great Job More...

I’m not surprised to see 5 stars on here. I work for a major corporation in Rhode Island and majority of employees wanted Newport in the Winter. The owner himself came to our company with food for like 10 of us to try and the food was hot. At our event they had a heated tent and floor and a portable kitchen so they were cooking as the day went on so everything was hot. There were so many choices, more than we ordered and everyone was very happy. Nice job, delicious food and very pleasant staff. Hey they cleaned up spotless and even had small boxes for us to take home leftovers. Just amazing. We will be calling for our summer bbq. More...

We had a death in the family and I was put in charge of the food afterwards at my Aunt's house in Cranston. I called a local restaurant that my Auntie loved to go to once a month but they were closed. I spoke to the owner and he recommended Boston's Best Catering. He told me they only need 24 hours and never say no. He gave me their website info and I got their phone from there. I called and the owner answered in the car wash and said to me right off "I am so sorry for your loss, how can we help?" We agreed to an italian buffet with 4 entrees with a salad and dinner rolls. They came the next day with everything including table cloths. They set everything up and allowed everyone to serve themselves and just stayed for 2 hours and cleaned up around everyone. After the meal, they came with containers to wrap everything for our family to take home. They cleaned everything spotless and left. They did all this and were only paid for a simple drop off. Now I have never been to a funeral where people compliment the food since we are dealing with my Auntie's passing but people were asking the family who is the caterer? When I told the owner he gave me some business cards but said its supposed to be about my Aunt not the food. An amazing job done on less than 24 hours when the other caterers & restaurants said no. so it is Valentine's day weekend and our family and friends host a party every year for all the couples in the family and our kids. This caterer asked to visit us at home with enough food for my entire family for free? I don't trust anyone so me and my father asked what's the catch? This guy who came was the owner and said this is how he has been doing things for over 30 years. Yikes... He brought us this giant lasagna and a bunch of meatballs, easily a $100 worth of food. Then he left saying "let me know if you need me for anything." 2 weeks later we hired him for our Valentine's Day party and we were stunned. Our party had maybe 50 family and this guy shows up with 10 employees all dressed like they work at Buckingham palace lol. Not a hair out of place and the food was insane, Baked Stuffed Shrimp, Lobster Nuggets, Stuffed Scallops, Beef wellington nuggets...... Just a great night and a great chef/caterer. I met with the owner at my work, he came with food for 6 or 7 people. His name was Sheldon and he said he was the owner. He brought us Marinated Lamb Chops, roasted potatoes & Beef Wellington. It was probably a $150 per person meal at Capital Grille. My boss and few coworkers were stunned. Food was amazing and we hired him for my parent's anniversary which was this past Saturday. My family & all the relatives and friends were blown away. This owner guy even came to the anniversary to make sure it went well and it really was perfect. My mother and father were so happy. They even supplied an anniversary cake at no charge. amazing More...
