Yes. While we are based in the Detroit area, we have completed projects in California, New York, Wisconsin, and northern Michigan. And, we are interested in expanding further. Because our designs are site-specific, we will make an initial visit to a site to experience various factors including sun paths, prevailing winds, noise, views, and topography to understand the opportunities and limitations. Once that information is gathered, we are able to 3D model the area and design the building remotely. Similarly, we are able to utilize video conferencing and other digital technologies to collaborate and communicate with the client, the builder, and any engineers or consultants required for the project.
While our team works in the studio, we have a flexible work policy which allows team members to work from home when needed. Covid-19 has required us to adopt several digital technologies and make them a regular part of our practice. To that end, we are able to conduct entire design processes with our clients utilizing video conferencing, 3D digital models, and other technology.
