Fiona Grace Counselling

Finding the right Counsellor for you is the most important part of therapy. The trust and connection that is built is a vital part of the process. I work with all ages either face to face or online sessions. I know it’s not always easy to ask for help and feel that you are struggling to manage your feelings, moods, anxiety etc. It can feel overwhelming and often like you are losing control. I can offer you a space to explore and work through what’s going on for you . Therapy is not a one size fits all process, everyone is different and none of us experience the world in the same way. As well as working with adults I have 17 years experience working with children and young people. I have supported clients within many settings such as social services - care leavers & children in care, homeless hostels, information shops, youth work and I am currently a counsellor for a local school . I work with those who are neurodiverse , anxiety, depression, bereavement, family issues, low confidence/self esteem, invisible illnesses such as ME & fibromyalgia, relationship issues, understanding your feelings around the care system, PTSD and anything you would like to explore in our sessions. I am an Integrative counsellor so I use many modules of theory and will bring in suggestions and techniques that I feel may be useful as part of the sessions and for you to use between sessions. If you feel I would be the right counsellor for you please contact me

What do you love most about your job?

I love to give people a space to feel heard. In day to day life we are listened to but not often really seen and heard. I’m always honoured to be a part of someone’s process, allowing you to share all of yourself, even the parts you don’t like and not feel judged. Helping someone to get through a stage in life they are struggling with , processing thoughts, feelings, fears etc and being able to feel they can move forward again.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have many year experience working for companies but I wanted to have more choice in who I work with and having more people be able to work with me rather than having them chosen for me.
I have 2 spaces for my therapy face to face work and I enjoy the challenge of working in Private Practice.

Why should our clients choose you?

Finding a counsellor who you feel you can connect with is such an important part of therapy being successful. I hope that when you look at my photo and my profile that you will feel a connection to me and choose to contact me for support.
I am here to listen and truly hear your words and how you are feeling. Giving you a space to explore what’s going on for you, maybe find some techniques to help manage feelings, anxieties, stress etc. There is no judgment although I am not a miracle worker but I do not believe we are broken, we may feel that way sometimes but like a jigsaw it’s about putting the pieces back together again.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can offer both face to face & online counselling sessions

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

If you have covid or being around someone who has I will only offer online sessions for at least 2 weeks and you must be testing negative before returning so that it keeps myself & vulnerable clients visiting away from risk.
