I am a counsellor accredited by the British Psychanalytic Council (registration number 26340). I provide individual counselling for addiction, grief and loss, inter-generational trauma and persistent difficulties in work or in your personal life. I can also help with life transitions like leaving school or university, parenthood, mid-life and retirement.

I’m a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 7 years of experience working with both individuals and couples. I am CBCAP qualified to Diploma levels, and I'm accredited by the BACP. (British Association counselling Psychotherapy). I practice Person-Centred therapy which is part of the 'Humanistic' approach. This means I will deal with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how I might interpret your unconscious thoughts or ideas.

Person-Centered counselling provides a safe, supportive and non-judgmental setting in which the client is free to explore and express inner thoughts and feelings in the present moment without judgment. The counsellor does not offer advice or solutions, but trusts implicitly in the client’s own ability and inner resources to make sense of what is happening, and to find the means within themselves to deal with negative thoughts and feelings.
