The online lessons work very well.
I am a complete beginner with the electric guitar (but with a musical background), as of five weeks ago...
Phil offers tuition up to Grade 8, for electric guitar and theory, with the RSL examination board (the same UCAS points as London College of Music for the higher grades).
Lots of fun, whilst challenging myself to improve, if the guys in those online guitar-review videos can do it(!)

Ben is the best thing that happened to me musically.
Playing guitar since 22 odd years I was stuck, frustrated and almost lost hope.
To be very honest I was a bit skeptical about video lessons but Ben changed my entire view on playing. He introduced concepts in a systematic manner and worked on my technique. He designed the classes to be a combination of theory, technique and fun.
He isn't commercial or money minded. Very flexible.

Sean has been giving weekly guitar lessons to my 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter, at our house ,for approximately a year. He is a nice friendly young man who the kids both feel totally comfortable with, and enjoy their lessons. He keeps them motivated by learning new songs every week or two and doing the types of music they enjoy listening to. They are making really good progress!

Want to learn how to play the guitar? You are in the right place! My name is Panos, and I am a professional guitar player/teacher from Greece who lives and works in the UK. Teaching has been my passion since I was a guitar student! In 2014, I graduated with a Jazz Guitar degree from Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens, Greece. Later, I had the chance to study at the University of West London (UWL) and graduated with a BMus in Music Performance and Production in 2019.

Panos is an excellent musician and importantly, a really good educator. He has a very ‘sensing’ approach - he will listen to your needs and take the discussion and put the focus on your development points. He does so in a very tactful, patient and motivating manner. I recommend lessons with Panos 200%. (Yes, he knows how to play really well, too!!)

Hello, my name is David and have enjoyed teaching students of all ages and abilities to maximise their potential on guitar and piano for over 10 years. I'm a professional guitarist and pianist, teaching most style of playing / genre to a professional level. Whether you're an absolute beginner, or a more experienced player looking to advance your skills, my teaching style will help you to build your confidence not only as a guitarist/ pianist, but as an overall musician.
Well, that depends entirely on the person. Our lessons are open to everyone, from beginners to advanced players and with no age limits. Some people are wanting to be the next Hendrix or Clapton. Others are looking to hone their skills specifically on acoustic, electric or bass. Some of my students are really into certain styles and need coaching on that. We’ve given jazz guitar lessons, metal guitar lesson, flamenco guitar lessons and even gypsy jazz lessons! London is a great place to find people who want to learn some of the more abstract styles.
A guitar would be helpful! We ask all our students to provide their own instrument – although we can lend them a bass if they need it. Don’t worry if you’re not rocking a vintage Fender Stratocaster though, as we can teach you to play no matter what guitar you have. Aside from that, we’ve got enough plectrums, capos and amps for everyone. We also keep enough spare nylon, steel and flat strings for any breakages that might happen during your lessons. Finally, we have plenty of songbooks with guitar tabs for those wanting to learn to read or write music.
We’ve taught a whole range of skills and techniques across a variety of genres. Some people just need help with basic chords – you need those barre and power chords nailed to get anywhere as a guitarist. Others want to build on their strumming and picking. Very few people are Dick Dale the first time they touch a guitar. Those tremolo picking skills don’t come out of thin air! The key is not to feel self-conscious. If playing guitar is simply a hobby, or if you want to really make something out of it, we cater our classes entirely around what you’re looking to get out of them.
