The most enjoyable thing about the job for us is the end of the night. The balloons have all popped, the confetti is everywhere, the nice suits and ties are all untucked and wrapped around heads. Kids are still laughing with one another and hyperactive from all the soft drinks. And the dispersing crowd are all yelling for one more song. Whilst packing down the equipment every parent, work colleague or guest is approaching you saying how great of a night it has been! Nothing is more fulfilling in this job than that.
We started off as a part time DJ at our local rollerskating rink. We were in charge of the light shows, music and conducting the games the customers played.
