From time to time we can experience personal difficulties, crises, relationship and work-related problems that leave us finding it hard to cope, understand things and make decisions. I aim to help you to gain perspective about the issues troubling you; explore the causes of your problems and consider what might be stopping you from reaching your full potential. I am a qualified Integrative therapist, registered with the BACP and provide individuals with a bespoke treatment plan from humanistic, cognitive behavioural therapy and attachment theory approaches.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I have the fullest commitment to offering a service which is welcoming to all backgrounds in a supportive and non-discriminatory manner. I predominately work from a Person-Centred Approach, but I will draw on other modalities if this is needed. I am a strong believer that the individual is best placed to tell their own story in their own way.

For someone who didn’t see the point in going to speak to a councillor how could they help with my grief, how wrong was I.
Stacey helped and supported me through one of the darkest points in my life by talking and helping me understand my grief. She also made me feel that it is ok for me to do the things I wanted to do (eg talk to the robin) and not feel stupid for doing it. Gave me some great ideas on memory box etc. I thought it was the grief that I was struggling with but by the way she got me to talk we then realised that I was also struggling with other parts of my life, like having control of things that didn’t matter in the big world but to me at the time was MASSIVE. She helped me put things into perspective and even now a good few months later I stop and think about our conversation and it helps me when I’m feeling overwhelmed.
I can’t thank Stacey enough for her support. X

I work with people with challenges in their personal lives. Often these are relationship challenges (as singles or couples), anxiety, stress, low self esteem, low confidence, anger, feelings of emptiness, abuse. I empower clients to make lasting changes to their lives. Warmth, authentic, accepting, empathetic, are attitudes that are very important to me. I am confident I can help clients address their challenges, and increase their resilience.

Helping anyone in need. I think that mental health and emotional difficulties are often misunderstood. I want to help clients realise that they are uniquely qualified to make the decisions that are best for them. I offer a service that supports you to build belief in your own capabilities, and gain greater insight into yourself. I have seen too many people stressed over expectations that have been placed onto them by other people - I love seeing individuals free themselves of these constraints and become a stronger individual.
I have worked in the charity and non-profit sector for many years. I loved the impact I was having, but with funding cuts it was always difficult to provide support at the rate that the client needed it. I wanted the chance to work with people that didn't always fall into the extreme category, and with early intervention that was long enough to be most effective. Mental health and emotional well being affects everyone, and yet most people do not get the help and support that they need - particularly in communities where it is still taboo. I wanted to change that.
I put the client at the centre of everything. My process is to help you to work to the pace that suits you, with methods that you are most comfortable with. Not everything is easy to say, and my training in creative techniques gives me the ability to offer you other ways to communicate your thoughts and feelings. I also find it is useful for you to project your own ideas into the space, so that you can understand them from a fresh perspective.
My aim is always to help you get the support you need, and become independent of therapy so that you can apply that resilience in your future.
