I decided to become a life coach after sitting down and figuring out what I'm passionate about. As I meditated and did some soul searching, I realized that I truly enjoy helping people, but wanted to do it in a different facet now. I've been a social worker, adolescent group home director, elementary after school teacher, public housing lease and occupancy technician, and the list goes on, but I wanted to do something that would help people help themselves. I did some research and found that a life coach does exactly that. Life coaches provide positive support and encouragement. I came up with Purposed-Life Coaching because it is the goal of each individual to live their life on purpose. A life of purpose that was already pre-destined. Like a butterfly, a person goes through different stages in life (some more challenging than others), but ultimately if they have the courage to keep going, they will achieve that goal.

I have been in different transitions in life myself. I stepped out of corporate jobs to pursue a life of entrepreneurship, not certain how I was going to get started, but now 13 years later, successfully managing 3 businesses. Previously married, I am a single mother with two daughters,12 and 6 years old, that I have to balance my personal life, their lives, and business. Even as a life coach, I have a mentor and coach that I use for my well-being.

I am a Metro-Atlanta based Certified Life Coach who has been social services for over 22 years with over 16 of those years in human development. In addition to my experience, I have a BS in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, MS in Christian Counseling, Doctorate of Economic Development, and Honorary Doctorate of Humanitarian.
