I started working with dogs at a very young age, volunteering at animal shelters, shadowing veterinarians, animal clubs in school, and helping raise all my family’s dogs, cats, and all kinds of little creatures growing up.

What do you love most about your job?
I have always loved working with dogs and being around dogs for my whole life, and having a career that allows me to be around them all the time is a dream come true. I love seeing the progress the puppies and dogs I train make through my training process that allows them to reach their full potential and meet the expectations their owners have for them. I also love being able to help owners better understand their dogs and give them the tools to use positive training methods to strengthen the amazing bond people can have with their dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working with dogs has always been the ultimate goal in my life from the time I was a child all the way through obtaining my degree in Animal Science to better understand my favorite creatures. The defining moment that inspired me to work in animal behavior occurred while I was working as a veterinary technician in Tennessee where I rescued my dog, Lennon. When Lennon came into the veterinary hospital I worked at she had been abandoned, badly abused, and used as "bait" in a dog fighting ring. She was terrified of everything, physically and mentally broken down even though she was a young dog. Nursing her back to health, rehabilitating, and transforming her into the incredible dog she is today was the most rewarding experience I could have ever imagined. I realized there was no better feeling than helping a dog reach its full potential being a truly incredible companion.

Clients should choose my training services because I am truly passionate about dogs. I have worked my entire life to reach an ultimate goal of making a career for myself working with dogs. My history, experience, and background has given me the opportunity to become a well-rounded dog trainer in that I have worked with dogs and educated myself about dogs in many different ways through my history working as a veterinary technician, kennel assistant, trainer, consultant as well as my Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. I ensure that I give every one of my training clients the training plan that fits both their and their pet's needs. All of my classes are held in a safe environment that incorporates positive reinforcement training methods and specialized training exercises, activities, and games that allow the dogs and the owners to enjoy the experience! I never overbook any of my classes with more than just a few dogs, especially in the puppy classes, I want everyone in the class to get the most out of each session. I am devoted to my career as a dog trainer and always build a strong relationship with all of my clients and their dogs.
