Arroyo Designs is 5 stars. Asked for a new logo design with a few things in mind. Within a few days he had a few different ideas to pick from.

What makes a great website?
1. Fast Loading -- No one wants to wait (and wait and wait) for your site to load. Design sites with prompt loading times for all users on all devices (even the ones with slower Internet connections).
2. Mobile Ready -- Virtually everyone uses smart devices on a daily basis.
3. Tracking Enabled -- Analytics matter - it’s the best way to determine that your website is actually doing its job.
4. SEO Savvy -- Don’t underestimate the power of optimizing your site for both browsers and humans.
5. Email Marketing -- Yes, email marketing is still a thing - and a highly effective thing at that. A site’s email capture forms should sync with the client’s email marketing system for seamless access and connection.
6. Social Media -- Never miss an opportunity to leverage the power of social media.
7. Strong Security -- Never compromise on-site security. Every design should include fundamental security and privacy protocols, such as basic security checks, to protect client and user data.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Why do you want a new website designed? If you replacing a current website design, in what ways does the current website not meet your company's needs?
What do you see as the primary goal/outcome of having a new re-designed and optimized website?
Are there any features/sections that you would like to have included in the design of the new site that would attract more prospective clients?
Who would you say is your company's primary competition? Do they have a website, and if so does it have something that your current site does not?
Do you have a preferred color palette to be used with the new design?
Any other information that you feel would be beneficial having in order to best address the company's needs with respect to its website?
Describe your creative process.
I always like to begin by investing time researching current ideas as well as previous design concepts attempted with regard to the project at hand in order to ensure I don't end up with a concept that has already been tried.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
In 90% of the time, I don't have the luxury of meeting with my clients in person, so it's essential that I get as much information necessary to maximize each other's time and deliver a product to the satisfaction of the client. I'm happy to submit a questionnaire with important information to provide us.
What do you love most about your job?
I love sharing my talents and skills with others to enhance their goals. I'm always actively creating in my head and love every opportunity to apply my ideas to assist others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Arroyo Designs was born out of my very own personal need for a website and logo to showcase my work as a photographer. Being an educator by trade, I originally tackled the areas of digital photography, and with it, the necessary need to learn the tools of the trade: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Soon after designing my website, I realized there was need for personal professional web and graphic design services that would deliver the same type of care and detail I had bestowed in my own design work. The rest is as they say…history. I have been busy designing the future since 2006. Let me design your future.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm a great listener. My approach towards design aims a producing clean, minimalist, yet elegant designs. I'm well versed in Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
