I started working as an Event Coordinator at NAIT’S STUDENT’S ASSOCIATION while I was a student at NAIT. I have always liked hosting and organizing events from my elementary days. Working at the student association helped me network and grow skills to organize events that cover a vast variety of interests for student audiences of as small as 10 to over 200.
After school, I’ve always missed planning the events. I missed how exiting I felt. They say do what makes you happy, I guess this is me trying to do so. The end result of the event is what makes me happy.
Event planning for me is more than just a job, it’s what keeps me going. I love working from scratch and seeing the end product come together. I like to work closely with my clients, making them part of each step while taking the stress of juggling everything together.
