Great food, lively/vibrant atmosphere. Had the; tuna crudo (with coconut / kaffir / chili oil / kombu / grapefruit / scallion / black sesame); tempura skewer (scallop / chorizo / basil / cilantro / sweet chili) and mushroom inari (fried rice / ginger / napa / chantrelles / edamame)All amazing! Â Reservations are still tough to get, but if you are willing to sit at the bar, and go early-ish you can get in. Hope you enjoy as much as we did :)

Wedding review for Vista Room:We had our wedding here in June 2018 and were blown away with everything. Gyneya (owner and coordinator for us) was simply awesome. She answered our multiple questions and emails at the drop of a hat and accommodated us with every single one of our needs and desires. She was there the night of our wedding and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Her staff were unbelievably kind and friendly to us and our guests. They set everything up for us and everything was perfectly set up. They really relieved a lot of stress in the planning part. The food was great (we had chicken, salmon, and duck served) and the prices for food and alcohol were all very reasonable, especially compared to other venues. The views were beautiful on Dow's Lake and the location could not get any better. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in Ottawa for a reasonable price in a great building and location.
