Cairis Counselling is a team of 2 different counselors Leighton Tebay - Founder and Certified Counselor For Leighton anxiety, depression, addiction and anger problems look different in each of us but underneath it all there is hurt, fear and shame. Each difficult experience of the past can weigh us down and life gets heavier and more difficult. At Cairis the goal is to help you find your own inner strength and compassion and then heal the hurt, transform the fear and release the shame.

My desire is for every client to experience healing - an unburdening and coming back together - through evidence-based, client-centred, spiritually-sensitive therapy that remains grounded in real life (which is often very messy). I offer you a judgement-free space to be yourself and let go of whatever stress or pain you’re carrying. You set the goals and the pace, and together we move towards what’s meaningful amidst a history of trauma and hardship.

Hi there, welcome to New Perspective Counselling! I believe in empowering clients as we work together in developing and implementing solutions for the challenges you may be experiencing. I have a Social Work degree (BSW., RSW) from the University of Regina and continue to expand my counselling education within the mental health and family dynamic fields. I utilize multiple counselling strategies applying the best approach that suits the client’s needs.
