Had my first ever "trigger point therapy" session with Christine at Body Poets, it was fantastic (pretty painful actually) but had a great experience there, very welcoming atmosphere! Christine was awesome to talk to and super friendly and knowledgeable, very good at what she does! Tomorrow will be painful but its well worth it, thanks Christine :) I'll be back next month for sure!

It's a very safe environment to get a massage .The business abide by the rules set forth by the college of massage therapist
You have a sense of security during your treatment because you are always facing down on the table with your mask on while your therapist never takes his/her mask off.
The room has been throughly sanitize before you enter.
Bottom line.
it's a very professional business operation.
Clients safety seems to be the business number one priority.

I Love Kent Massage Therapy and not just because I am the proud momma of Krista. I went from “you want to study to be what – oh no you’re not” – to “Wow – I never knew what a massage therapist could do to make me more mobile, flexible and pain free.” Her family were her first patients. Krista has a gift to promote healing and though I didn’t know it at the time, she set the bar very high for me to try to find a therapist of her calibre where I live. She continues to educate herself and share what she has learned over the years with her colleagues who are also gifted. It is not just having the education and knowing anatomy well. A good therapist also needs to be able to zero in on and manipulate the muscles etc to achieve the desired result like alleviate a pain or remove tension from a joint. In my opinion not all RMTs are equal and having been treated by the gold standard (yes still prejudiced) finding a good therapist in my town took quite a while. Krista has surrounded herself with good therapists (Christie, Roxane, and Meghan) who also care about not just treating, but also the healing and well being of their clients. I especially like information posted by Roxane on facebook. Thank you ladies of the Kent Massage Therapy family for helping Krista achieve her dream of having the best clinic and for picking up the slack, so she was able to give us our wonderful grandson. Just so you know, we would like more.

I am a non-judgmental, empathetic, trustworthy, and culturally aligned psychotherapist who works with individuals all over the world and with all types of presenting issues. My theory is "let us be influenced by the solutions and less by the problems". My overall goal is to show you that feeling good is the desired state of being and YOU have the power within you to accomplish it. I will be the one showing you how powerful you actually are and helping you every step of the way. It is my absolute passion to help you, my favourite part of life. I love my job and I love working with all my clients one-on-one. You can trust that you found a special confidant in me. I believe that we must be like Steel! We must always be prepared to change your shape just like steel. Steel is always going through different forms in life, different temperatures, different struggles. Always being forced to reshape and mold to the new environment. Being able to adapt to change is how you will survive the disappointments and storms of life. Sometimes these changes are not always easy to accept, but often you will find that the new shape you create is just as rewarding as the old shape, just in different ways. So, when the time comes to change your shape and become something new, remember that you are just like Steel and you will not break. You will become something new, you will learn from the changes, and you will emerge better, smarter, and stronger than before (Algonquin’s College President Cheryl Jensen). I want to be part of the process that helps you change your shape, take your strength to places unknown to the conscious awareness that exists within you. I want to be part of Your Self-Development and Growth team! I run several workshops throughout the year. Psychoeducation is a big part of my practice as I believe in spreading knowledge as a way of empowering others. Join us in this workshop that will be a guide to narcissistic abuse recovery. I love helping emotional wounds heal! My passion is helping you! I work with different modalities including Psychoanalysis, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
I am inspired by the immense need to be more in tune with our emotional and spiritual needs in order to release and heal from anxiety and depression.
Main areas I am experienced with are:
Life-long Trauma, Narcissistic Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Childhood Sexual Abuse, Sex Therapy.
With compassion and empathy, I work to see what your mind is needing to release from the unconscious. We learn about your Love Language, about your inner voices, and your communication styles. We work together to release the unconscious into conscious awareness so that new behavioral patterns can be established and a better, happier, more functional life can be born.
Together, we work on detangling you from the past, staying together in the present, and working at visualizing a better future. My goal is to help you help yourself. I am only a part of your toolbox. Your toolbox will be filled with tools by the time we end each session.
If you feel like you are in crisis (or suicidal) and need immediate assistance, please call 911. Seek Help immediately!
