In 2009, ‘SEAL Swim Club’ was founded by Simon Easton, as a means to keep the Toronto District School Board’s ‘W.A. Porter Collegiate’ swimming pool from permanent closure.
From its inception, ‘SEAL Swim Club’ acted as a bridge between learn to swim classes and elite competitive swim training. The main objective was to provide high quality training for swimmers interested in competing, but not looking for the high commitment of an elite swim club, while the underlying objective was to foster the love of swimming as a lifelong sport and activity.
After incorporating ‘Simon Easton Aquatics Ltd.’ in 2016, the company adopted the trade name ‘SEAL Swimming’, to encompass all aspects and age groups of swimming development.
At Seal Swimming we believe that swimming is essential for children, to build strong bodies, healthy minds, self-esteem, social skills and community values, as well as water safety awareness.
We provide an individualized swim experience to all our students, empowering swimmers to reach their personal potential by providing the highest quality swim training in a fun, safe and rewarding environment.

It started off with the free training session offered at YMCA to new members. That one session with Ivan, and I made the unexpected decision to have him as a personal trainer. He has a perfect understanding of the workouts for targeted muscles which for me is was makes a trainer standout. Not just that, he went out of his way to make and share meal plans that’s specific to my needs while also taking the time to explain it. If you’re looking for your moneys worth in your fitness journey, Ivan is your go-to!
