Hello! My name is Ms Nefeli. I'm a certified Online Music Teacher with over 25 years teaching experience, a BA in Psychology and a special interest in music and how we learn. I LOVE working with neurodivergent students, students with disabilities, and adults that have always wondered if they could play piano (You can! I promise!). I don't believe there is one method for each student.

Nefeli is a great teacher. She is very organize. She creates a lesson plan tailored to my daughter's needs. She makes learning easy by utilizing the use of technology and making it fun at the same time. She creates a checklist for the week, which is easily accessible and printable by myself and my daughter. My daughter can't wait for next season.

NOTE: Our company is based in Toronto, and we only offer in-home lessons for this city, but on-line classes are available nationwide. Please contact us for more details. Thank you! Music matters. It can be a vital factor in developing a young person’s cognitive development and self-esteem, and encourages a sense of play and expression that is often lacking in our increasingly structured world.

I firmly believe we humans are all deeply musical creatures and your musicality is likely to be dormant, underdeveloped or both. With passion, persistence, expert guidance and a lot of practice, you can develop that innate musical self just as well as anyone else. My teaching methods guide each student through a methodical and successful path in the musical learning process — from developing musical and technical skills to providing every pupil with the important tools necessary to develop focus in personal practice time and performance.

For more information about our safety procedures during covid, visit: https://singersedge.com/covid19/. Singer’s Edge has re-opened our physical locations for optional in-person (or online) lessons. Below is an overview of the procedures we are putting in place to open and operate safely:
All students continue lessons online only until they are approved to attend in-person. In-person lesson time availability is limited. Should students wish to attend some portion of their lessons in-person, they must complete our 4-step in-person lesson approval procedure.
The Academy entrance doors will be kept locked at all times. Only students scheduled will be allowed to enter. Parents, family and friends must wait outside. Parents may observe lessons via zoom by request.
Students and staff are required to wear masks at all times and socially distance by 2m while inside the Academy. This includes for singing lessons.
In person and zoom lesson attendance will be tracked. Group lessons will continue online only.
All students and staff will be pre-screened and temperature checked before entering. Both staff and students are required to self-assess for COVID symptoms, and refrain from arriving at the Academy if they are experiencing such symptoms.
HEPA air filters and transparent plexiglass barriers are individually installed in every lesson room.
The academy is thoroughly cleaned daily by professional cleaners.
Lesson time for in-person lessons will be reduced slightly. This is to accommodate possible delays to pre-screen procedures at the start of the lesson, and ending a few minutes early to disinfect student touch points, so that the next student may start on time.
The academy will no longer be able to provide microphones, guitars, or drum sticks for shared student use. Please come to your lessons with your own if needed.
Once opened, we may be required to close again and return to online only if/as needed, in which case the remainder of your months lessons would continue online only.
