We are very fortunate to have found NOAH! Our precious Baxter had been seeing Dr. Sarah and staff for the past 2 years plus and it has been a pleasure. Just yesterday he went for his teeth cleaning and problems were found, but were taken care of the same day! He will be much happier and healthier, and less unhappy with us all in a few days, thanks to the fantastic doctors and staff. You are the BEST.....

Where to begin. I found this place when in desperate search of a groomer, after I had to cancel our boy’s grooming appointment to bring him to the vet, and then went to the cottage, and got very matted on his underside. This was the only place with a spot open, so we made the hour trek out of the city. 45 minutes into his appointment, I get a call that they can’t groom him. The owner, who isn’t a groomer, the one who I left him with, was the only one there when I picked him up. She seemed very nice and apologetic. Saying that it was late would take too long to remove the mattes from his paws. She also said that she was looking for staff. I offered to pay for a double appointment so the staff would have time to do it, so we booked a double appointment first thing in the morning, a few weeks later. Woke up at the crack of dawn, drove over an hour out of the city, got there to find that the groomer was late. When she did arrive, she buzzed his stomach, left an errant buzz mark up each of his sides, peeled his legs like bananas, leaving all of the fur hanging off, trimmed one ear, one side of his bum area, and returned him to us, while I was still filling out the forms. She didn’t touch his paws, which is the reason we were there, only trimmed his nails, or a few of his nails, when I specifically asked. Then insisted that I take him to a “vet groomer” in Mississauga, and gave me their card. As far as I can tell, this is just a made up term for a groomer who sublets a space from a vet. My dog has a vet, very near our home, that he saw a month before seeing these butchers, and less than two weeks after. They also told me that my dog had a “hot spot.” I spoke to my vets office about what they had said, and was told to get his paws groomed or trimmed so they could see what was going on, and bring him in if any concerns. Which is what I did. A week later, these people had the audacity to call me to bring in my dog for another grooming. I explained to them that I had spoken to my vet, and was following their advice. I then asked them why on earth I would spend another two hours driving for them to not groom my dog, or groom him after he’s just been groomed. They offered me a 50% discount on his next grooming. At that point I asked why they didn’t groom him on one of the previous TWO occasions that I brought him to be groomed. They stated that they weren’t equipped in the event that they were to cut him. I explained to them that the reason people bring their dogs to get groomed professionally, is because they are supposed to be equipped, that is literally their jobs, and if they aren’t equipped, they shouldn’t be near dogs with sharp objects. The woman then asked if I would be back, which was an obvious no, and then she hung up. I assume it was at this point that she called animal services on me, and apparently said that my dog had ingrown claws-again, he was at the vet a month before seeing them, and less than two weeks after. He had no such thing, nor did he have any sort of “hot spot” that they referred to. If you’d like to go to a groomer that, may not actually groom your dog, & by their own admission, “isn’t equipped” to groom dogs, or enjoy the possibility of having the bring a slander lawsuit against someone that uses animal protection services as a tool of spite, this might be the place for you, otherwise, take your dog, and RUN! I’ve included a couple of photos, taken nearly a month later, of the buzzer marks still left on my dog’s side. Is this the handiwork of a professional?? You be the judge.
