What do you love most about your job?

When you work as a financial advisor, you get to meet all kinds of people. Whether you work with individuals, advise employers on their retirement plan offering, or have a wide range of clients of all sorts, everyone is different, with a unique situation that requires you to come up with solutions to meet their specific needs. You get to dig deep into people’s stories and find out what’s important to them so you can in turn help them plan to preserve those things and protect what matters most to them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Working for many larger institutions before starting my own financial firm taught me a lot about the industry. What they do right and what they do not so right. My goal was to build on the great practices I learned in my many years in the industry and improve on items that I felt were lacking. I wanted to build a financial practice where the client is always put first, where they have impeccable service and aren't left with wandering questions, where their fees were competitive and fully disclosed, and lastly I wanted to ensure I could offer any product and no so without being incentivized to sell my own product! Today I run that firm and I am very proud of what I have built.

Here is a little bit about me. I run a financial services shop that is fully independent. Being independent allows us to have more investment flexibility and most importantly helps keep costs down! Meaning, we are not tied to or incentivized by any product or company. We will always recommend what is best for you.

We can operate to full capacity online and or remotely. Our technology platform for clients is completely online and our clients can review their assets from their phone, tablet or computer anywhere in the world. We have secure providers for video meetings and for sending important documents online.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

To keep our clients safe during Covid-19 we have switch to remote services. We can host our meetings on Zoom or on the phone to suit our clients preferences.
