We're going through a kitchen reno project and went through Bark + asking for referrals. We find it very difficult to differentiate electricians, however after interviewing several electricians through onsite visits, we decided to move forward with Edwin for a few reasons:
1. Edwin came very prepared and studied what we sent over
2. We find Edwin extremely humble & in my experience engineers that have this trait always deliver
3. The onsite visit was very professional. He didn't just take our plan, he added his insights and opinion on how to improve it / reduce unnecessary costs
4. Didn't just send over a quote, he walked us through an itemized list and explained not just the pricing but how he would approach the project. When hiring tradesmen its important for us to understand the process & have transparency to where the money is spent.
5. Working through a major reno, its important that all trades are working together. Edwin presented himself very professionally and assured us he would collaborate well with other tradesmen.
6. Lastly - Reviews are a big part of how we shortlisted electricians. You will not find many reviews yet for Edwin, however based on our onsite interaction and googling for background checks we are confident in moving forward.
