When I got my dog Pepper, she had severe anxiety, scared of people, was very reactive to dogs and other things outside the house. This dog was not a fan of going outside and would only approach certain individuals and 2 of her dog friends. Bryan helped us A LOT with not only teaching her different kinds of tricks, but also helped her build her confidence and was really patient with her. We signed up with Bark and Birch after adopting a 7 month old pup from Romania. We didnt have any MAJOR issues with her but lots of little behaviours we wanted to train out of her. Mainly just to make her feel comfortable and confident on the lead as quickly as possible.
We worked with Dan initially. He was great but sadly left after a couple of appointments. However we are now working with Bea, who I must say is absolutely awesome! She's taught us so many great tricks to keep Kiwi's attention when out on walks and really seems to understand the issues we're facing. Both Dan and Bea have been extremely responsive to any texts we sent asking for advice, even after we completed our last paid for session!

From the moment he walk in your door Jesse is aware of what’s going on. I have 3 dogs and he was helpful in understanding the different dynamic in our home. I've always loved dogs and had dogs in our family. Friends started asking me for training advice, and one thing lead to another! I enjoy working with people and their challenges. Dog Training has come a long way since 20 years ago, where they used a lot of corrections and saying "No". Dogs now are trained to want to work a long side you, through positive reinforcement and fulfilling their needs as individuals.

I have been in the business since 2002 where I started as a Dog Walking/Daycare/Boarding Service. I have learned from the best trainers in the city at Educanine Mentorship Program. They continue to inspire me with their knowledge, and their ability to read dogs and apply their techniques looking at each dog as an individual. I love a challenge, and being able to help parents have an easier time with their dogs and make it fun at the same time.
Yes, Online Zoom Training works quite well! The client doesn't have the distraction of the Trainer being in the room, they are doing the training themselves which is the best way of learning! The dogs are often more focussed on the owner as opposed to the Trainer which is ideal!
I ask my clients if they would prefer I wear a mask, and I do so when requested. Everyone has to feel safe and comfortable before they can learn especially when you're teaching indoors.
