We used to have to chase my dog down to get into the car for a car ride. It could take minutes to get him to settle down. It wasn't that he didn't want to go. He just had the case of the sillies everytime it was time to get into the car. As well, this fussy old pom wouldn't listen to me, and would do the "sit-stay" thing - on his terms only. It's hard to be ruled by a 9 pound furball. The classes ended up changing him a lot! (Or was it me) Now we play the "sit - stay - down - heal" game and he's quite eager. I'd thoroughly recommend Canine College. I really appreciate the way that the leader breaks up the class in dog size (small and large) because my little guy is quite afraid of large dogs. It's really helped a lot. Now, instead of chasing him around the yard to get in the car, I just give him the hand movement for "SIT" and pick him up. Done deal! That alone is worth the price, but we've learned a lot more than that! Thanks Canine College :)

Bonnie is fantastic! She was quick to respond and it is clear she has a passion for dogs as well as a huge amount of knowledge. We has a training session with 2 very high energy puppies and 2 kids and she managed everyone very well and got great results from all. : ) Her tips and method of training all come from a place of LOVE OF DOGS! I would highly recommend her.

Amber has been a great help with our 2 rescue doggies that came with some behavioral issues. We had trouble with both dogs messing in the house and also one of our dogs barked incessantly at other dogs on our walks. I since have learned Jonesy's barking is fear based - she taught me how to handle him and it has made a huge difference. She also guided me on how to better house train both dogs. I would highly recommend Amber!! AND she's very calm and gentle with our dogs - she is truly the "dog Whisperer" - I told her she should have her own show!!
Here at All Paws on Deck, we use science-based positive reinforcement training methods with your dog. Positive reinforcement is a force-free training method that uses rewards to help your dog learn a new behavior or to create a new response to a stressful situation. We will be using positive reinforcers such as food, toys, and/or affection to help teach your dog good behaviors and simply ignoring undesired behaviors. Our programs are perfect for families who want to enjoy their dog (or new puppy!) more. We have created these dog training programs to help you accomplish your training goals with your dog easier and faster. We have found that students in a program see more results with their dog than those using one on one training. Consistency is so important when it comes to dog training so that’s why we have developed these programs just for you! . The biggest difference between the programs is how much time we spend together…The more time we have with you and your dog, the farther along your dog will be (reliably listening in more situations), in less time, and with less work for you. The other difference is how much long term support is included for your peace of mind. I love seeing your dog's progress and the ways in which they learn something new. I also love seeing their owners gain confidence with their dog and feel a little happier with their progress. I am really passionate about educating dog owners how to raise a well balanced puppy and make training fun and effective!
I have loved dogs ever since I was a little kid. You could find me hiding with my Aunt's dog for Christmas every year despite there being a huge family party going on. I finally got a dog of my own when I was 12 and since then, I have rescued 3 dogs of my own; 2 that I currently get the pleasure to love every day. I knew how much my dogs meant to me and I wanted to create a business with high standards with your pets well being first at heart.
As a trainer, I am extremely passionate about dogs and the way in which they learn. I am an advocate for positive reinforcement and force-free methods when it comes to training. I will always cheer you on and teach you how to be a great leader for your pet while taking their happiness and well being into account.
I feel as though my customers wouldn't get as much out of a remote training lesson so I am not offering these currently.
