I have always been passionate about working with dogs. I have mainly worked with dogs suffering from aggression and anxiety because they needed the most help. After Covid, there has been a tremendous amount of dogs in need of help. I focus on 3 important areas: social, mental and cultivating confidence. I know it may sound weird, but cultivating confidence isn't for the dogs, it is for the owners. Sometimes the answer is simple, sometimes the solution is complex-either way, I am willing to do the work no matter how long it takes.
Doing what you love matters to me. I could be exhausted from training, probably have a snooze in my car just before the next session and BAM!! I am up, I am energized and excited to train
I found out early that I had a gift with animals. There were many different types of animals: horses, cats, dogs, wildlife..I was learning quickly that I needed to refine my skills in order to teach others what I know. I became really good at training, but I never saw it until someone was shocked how well behaved their dog became following a few sessions with me. Not everyone needs a dog trainer, but it is a good feeling to make a difference in somebody's life that does
I'll never give up. No matter what. I love to do this. I love it so much that I offer a complimentary assessment and 25 minutes of free training. This gives a potential customer the opportunity to see how I work. If they do not see a difference in their dog during the first session-they need not sign up. I do this because I love it! It is a heart thing for me
Remotely training a dog is not ideal-it is pawsible, but not ideal. There is no connection with the dogs
