K9 Central is absolutely 5 stars! I have been taking my 7 month old dog Nina there for day care since April, and it has done wonders for her. Nina has insecurity and fear issues that render her afraid of other dogs: at K9 Central they introduced her very slowly to other dogs, with great attention compassion and care, taking as much time as needed for her to build confidence over time. She is now a happy camper who loves playing with all sorts of dogs! All of the staff is wonderful and caring, as well as excellent professionals who truly understand dogs. I am particularly grateful to Bryan who is a true dog whisperer. Nina was facing reactivity issues (fear and shyness NOT aggression) when she met with dogs and people she did not know. I have had dogs all my life but Nina's case required skills I did not have. Byran did an awesome job at training Nina to overcome her reactivity. Nina's response to his training exceeded our expectations and we are beyond grateful for this. Bryan also provided us with confidence and skills we were lacking to provide Nina with all the extra help she needed. Whereas before working with Bryan going on a walk was very stressful for Nina as for us, we now look forward to our outdoor walks as opportunities to continue to build on the solid foundations that Bryan laid down for us. It is such a joy to see that instead of barking and showing fear she is starting to look at us for a treat whenever there is a trigger --- meaning, to see that Nina has learned to disengage when faced with a another dog or stranger. We continue take her regularly to day camp since she loves it there, and this will surely help Nina to continue to gain confidence in regards to hanging out with other dogs. I cannot comment on the inside facility itself but the staff made the decision for me that my dog will not be staying at K9 Central. After speaking with the 1st employee, I was provided with 40% of truthful information on my dogs possible stay. I then got a call back from the 2nd employee a day later, who made me feel like she did not have any time to talk to me. I was trying to set up a time to come by and see the facility as I was hoping my 7 month old puppy could stay there while I was on a 1 week vacation. I mentioned I had a full time job and that 11am or 3pm may not work. ALL this employee said ack was "Sorry it will not work out" and hung up on me. Still very shocked that not only a company but human individual can act that way. It is already an emotional journey trying to leave your pet, imagine having to leave your pet with that person! Absolutely love these guys, everyone is super friendly. My Aspen starts dancing circles at the front door as soon as you ask him if he wants to go to “doggie daycare” or “play all day”, runs to the truck and starts dancing and whining with excitement in the truck when we’re a couple blocks away! So great and reassuring to know that he is happy to go there and play with his friends and he’s not stuck at home all day alone when I need to go to meetings or the office. Cole has been coming to K9 central for training, swimming and daycare since I got him 2 years ago. He always comes home from daycare happy yet exhausted and everyone I have dealt with there has been kind, informative and have realistic expectations of how he should behave. My dog Blue has attended daycare here everyday for the last three weeks and he could not be happier. his whole demeanor has changed for the better since being better socialized with other dogs. Oh I wish I could remember the name of the human who looked after my Teagan and Tucker in the small dog area today. This was their first play day and Tucker is a high stress pup—when I came to pick them up they were outside playing/socializing with a pack of same size dogs. They had been separated until ready to meet their new friends and it seems smart decisions were made on their behalf and their first day was enjoyable!!!! We have been bringing our dogs to K9 Central for many years to use their grooming and boarding facilities. Our pets have always had the best of care while there, but our recent event where we left our two dogs, Fozzie and Freckles there while we were on a business trip really shows how much these operators care. Our old guy Fozzie became very ill and the Manager, Shayne did everything we would do in our absence. she cared for him, took him to the vet twice, and stayed with him to comfort him the whole time through the vet visits. Been taking my pomeranian here to be groomed for a few years now. They understand how to properly cut a double coated dog without damaging the coat. He looks great afterwards and is always happy. My Beagle Freckles always loved every second at K9 Central. After Freckles passed we continued our relationship with K9 Central when we started bringing our new guy, Lucky to them. Lucky is now eleven and spends an inordinate amount of time at K9 Central and enjoys it beyond belief. He always comes home happy. I have found K9 Central to be professional, caring, and absolutely dedicated to making sure Lucky has the best experience possible. The staff led by Shayne are always professional and it is both comforting and reassuring to know Lucky is in the best hands possible. I would not take Lucky to any other Pet Resort. Peace of Mind is everything to me and knowing Lucky is well looked after takes a load off my mind. I will always endorse K9 Central because I have up close first-hand experience with their commitment to excellence. I have referred many friends to K9 Central and now that's the only place they let their dogs stay. We have been coming to K9 Central for many years. We have used the boarding facilities as well as the Daycare. The staff have been very helpful and friendly and they answer all our questions we have had with our dogs. Our Dog Poppy loves it here. She is so excited she almost wags her tail off. She comes home happy and very tired. On hot days she gets to play in a small pool, one of her favourite things to do. Poppy has taken many classes here and loves all her instructors. We also have another dog, Daisy, who came to us as a rescue. Daisy is afraid of everywhere except here, she loves it here too. The staff are amazing with her. Daisy happily goes to all the staff for a treat and a pat. They continue to help us with all our questions and concerns. Daisy has taken a reactive dog class, agility, recall, and Rally-o. We have also booked time for one-on-one classes so Daisy can work off leash while practising on the equipment. The staff help us with her fears and any reactions while in classes. Daisy loves going off the dock and during the summer we rent time in the pool. As a working dog parent, it is nice to know our dog is safe and happy. Now that I am retired we still send Poppy to daycare a few times to keep her socialized. I highly recommend K-9 Central to all my friends and anyone who I meet who needs help with their dog. More...

We have been boarding our shih-tzu at K9 Central for the past 11 years, before that we brought them our beagle. I would never trust my dog to anyone but Morgan Jarvis and her team. . Our dog gets sooo excited when we drive into the parking lot. He loves to go there. They will go the extra mile for you as well. We have had family emergencies in the past where we needed to drop him off without much notice and they have always been able to accommodate us. If we are going to be a day or 2 late picking him up, we just give them a call and we know they will look after him. Lucky spends most of the winter at K9 Central while we are in Florida and it's the only place and people that I feel secure having him with. I have used their grooming facilities often and they follow my instructions on his cuts perfectly. There is nothing negative I can say about this facility. It is clean, safe and dogcentric. This morning I dropped my Golden retriever off at K9 Central. Watching Charm run over to the door to join the other dogs is the highlight of my day. She is always so excited to be there. Two years ago I adopted Charm from Golden Rescue and since she was a stray living on the streets of Istanbul there were quite a few issues to deal with. From the first day that Shayne (my trainer at K9) walked in my front door my life changed!! She was able to pinpoint problems and offer simple solutions. And, Charm loves Shayne to pieces!! Part of Charm's training was to socialize with other dogs. I could hardly believe my eyes on the first day as I watched Charm happily playing with her new friends. Once again Shayne knew what Charm needed. I am so thankful to all the handlers at K9 for their patience with Charm. They know what dogs get along with each other and keep them all safe and happy. I am a tough mom to please! I have been bringing my10 year old Berner to K9 central for many years but only for 1 weekend a year since I try to bring him everywhere. We now have a puppy Berner who will be staying with them for 10 days! It breaks my heart to not have him with me but I know that he is going to have SO much fun! This place is great! The staff go well above and beyond to take care of your dog! The staff and trainers are very friendly, smart, understanding, and willing to help out anyway they can. We have been taking our dog Jack here since he was 9 weeks old. We started with Puppy kindergarten class and when he was old enough we started him in daycare. He also goes there for grooming. He absolutely loves it there and the staff are very knowledgeable and caring. I had really been struggling to walk Jack because he was pulling so much, but they helped me choose the j walker harness and I love it! (My mom loved it as well and purchased one for her dog too). Just amazing. Our boys Huckleberry & Finn just did an extended 4 night stay and were taken care of so well. Huckleberry has separation anxiety and does not like to be crated. We requested he be in the same kennel as Finn and was told after night one he adjusted well and slept peacefully. This is the only place we are taking our boys to from now on. We have been there since we got our Olde at 10 weeks old. Started with puppy training and now we are up to Intermediate agility. Otis loves being there with the staff for training. He can barely contain himself as we drive up the street. We personally have had Otis boarded when we were on vacation, have him in their play all day care and have had opportunity to use their spa services too.
