Woo! Another new found lunch spot!A friend of mine introduced me to this delicious lil find.Small and in a slightly obscure location, but located near many downtown businesses.As the name states, they specialize in Mediterranean cuisine and provude a quick grab-and-go lunch or you can sit in the casual restaurant. Their main lunch feature are their "sandwiches" which are actually gyros... but I dont know the proper way to say gyros so I dont mind calling them a sandwich. They take a pita and warm it up so its all soft. Normally I dont like sauces in my wraps, but they use a perfect blend of tzaziki, hummus and garlic sauce that just harmonize together perfectly. They add a medley of veggies for some freshness and crunch which is pretty much lettuce and cucumber. Then they add the protein. Im currently addicted to the falafel... but my friend swears by the chicken schwarma.I dont know how they do it but somehow they stuff everything into the pita and wrap it up super tight. Huge tip: keep the wrapper on and peel as you eat, otherwise it'll all fall apart.Be prepared to become addicted.

Thank you King Cole Catering, Madeline’s Weddings and Events, and the Domain Hall Family for your excellent service on our wedding day. Everything was fantastic from the food, to the linens, the catering service and the venue! Everybody loved the food especially the carved baroon of beef and the spring rolls appetizers! Our guests loved the stunning and elegant linens from the Madeline’s and the modern rustic ambience of Domain Hall. The venue is well maintained and everybody was very professional to deal with. Josh and I are both grateful for the excellent service from King Cole Catering and Madeline’s Weddings and Events! Set-up and take down of tables, chairs and linens was included in the complete wedding package which is very good and convenient! The place is simple but very clean and elegant. Our guests loved the hard wood floors perfect for dancing!

Highly recommended!! Excellent food & service - they go above and beyond, and quality of food is top notch. Fresh, customized orders and always on time and packaged well. We use them for corporate meetings and luncheons as well as personal. Favourites are - their salads, soups (especially borscht), quiches and wraps and sandwich platters. They cater to food allergies also! Their flour-free peanut butter cookies are always a hit too. Truly a gem of Winnipeg!!

We shop at the grocery store a couple times of week and even had our wedding reception at De Luca's cooking school. The food quality is generally really good (especially the deli and baking). I have experienced the same problem mentioned below where packaged food is expired a couple times, and it is somewhat frustrating, but the fresh food is excellent and most of the packaged stuff is too.

Five of us adult family members waited more than 45 minutes to be seated for our 7 p.m. reservation (the patrons at our table were loitering long after paying their bill). Elsewhere, we may have left, however, our parents having been here before, suggested we would enjoy the meal once seated. Finally, menus in hand, we mentioned to our server, Patty, that we had been waiting a long time. Patty immediately replied that she would make it her mission that evening to make it up to us. Amazingly, she succeeded!With three different appetizers (comped on our bill) and five different dishes, even the picky eaters in our group were nothing but complimentary. Although the restaurant was packed to the gills on a busy Saturday evening, service (once seated) was excellent. All in all, it was worth the wait and we will be back!
