I booked the 1931 Gallery Bistro for a private event. The management team we very helpful in planning the event and very accommodating to suit our specific needs. The space was amazing and allowed for a very comfortable and fun event. The patio is phenomenal and interior space is very private and flexible. The food was delicious and cocktail/drink selection was perfect. Lastly the event staff were very friendly, helpful, professional and polite. I would highly recommend this venue.

There are many dishes I love to cook, but I love to cook a good grass-fed local beef steak, or nice piece of wild salmon as my personal favorites because that's what most of my customers love. I also specialize in vegan and vegetarian menu concepts for clients as well.
I always start with asking what the client absolutely does not like, then work my way into what they do like to get a basic idea of what direction to move towards for the rest of the menu plan. We'll start with my sample menu options and usually will come up with a streamlined menu for the client based on those options, or if the client has a specific dish they want I and any employee representing my company will always do their best to accommodate.
Working with great people and always being around a bounty of amazing ingredients in our beautiful city is what sets it off for me as a born and bred Vancouver chef. Most of all, I have amazing clients that have supported me and my business throughout my start up year and hope to continue and build more employee and customer relationships in the coming years.
While I have been a personal chef off and on for many years prior to the pandemic, I did not actually really lift it off the ground until I was laid off from my restaurant job as an executive chef for 8 years when the shut downs took effect in 2020. I spent most of that year preparing and planning to launch my company PalaTable Catering and Events and taking it full-speed into the Vancouver marketplace and hopefully become a major key player in the food service industry in the coming years.
I absolutely love what I do and you will see, experience and taste the passion I have in anything I put my name on, whether it's a simple boiled egg or a wagyu steak (or even a tofu or halloumi steak for that matter) you will get the 100% premium from me and my colleagues every time.
We provide on-site and off-site catering, personal chef, and meal delivery services it all depends on what our clients request from us.
