My work is incredibly gratifying. Although it is difficult work and sometimes painful to listen to the struggles my clients are facing, I know that I am making a difference in their lives. We work together and when I see productive shifts in the client's perception of things, we both feel a sense of achievement and satisfaction.
I've been in private practice for many years, after having worked in Social Service agencies earlier in my career. In 2017, I joined with two colleagues whom I had known and with whom I had previously worked and we formed Milestones & Transitions together. We are able to consult freely with each other [with your written permission]. We are all Registered Social Workers so are bound by the same professional ethics and standards. It has been a very rewarding partnership and I believe our clients have benefitted from the resources we are able to offer.
Any prospective client needs to find a social worker / therapist who 'fits'. I offer a high quality, ethical professional service and I meet the client where he or she 'is at'. I offer a 15 minute complimentary consult so that the client can get a sense of me and is free to ask me any questions about my practice and theoretical orientation.
Currently, I am working virtually, usually by Zoom or FaceTime. I occasionally 'see' clients by telephone, but I prefer seeing them on the screen. I have found the virtual work to be excellent and very conducive to our working together and exploring your issues. From time to time, if warranted [ie; with children or teens], if the physical distances are manageable, I may see some clients face to face.
Almost all my work is VIRTUAL. If physical distance permits and if warranted therapeutically, I may arrange to physically meet with a client. If so, together we will decide whether or not masks are worn. For example, if we meet outside, we may decide that we do not need masks.

After taking complimentary classes from Coach G, I was intrigued with the one-on-one rage tapping release course she was offering. I saw the value of tapping, and this 7-week course went so much deeper and helped me to release far more built-up emotions/resentments than I even knew I carried. At all times throughout the process, I was in control. With Coach G’s guidance, I selected the areas that I wanted to work on. It was hard work, but Coach G supported me every step of the way. She refers to herself as an angel on my shoulder. I lovingly recoined that as the gangster on my shoulder. I have never experienced so much support. It was so healing to release such longstanding pain and emotional grief in the presence of such a loving, supportive soul. It is said you get out what you invest. For the time and effort that I invested, I now have a much deeper understanding of myself, feel amazingly peaceful and grounded knowing who I am and how powerful I am, and will say every fear and emotion that I tapped into and released was well worth the time and trust. Thank you, Coach G. You are truly a gift to those who work with you.

Working with Geneva "Coach G" was life affirming, empowering, and uplifting. Every session brought me closer to knowing and falling in love with myself. My confidence, self-esteem, and my self-awareness increased exponentially with each session. I immediately applied the lessons I learned in our sessions to my day-to-day life. This was a life changing experience! I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to heal their heart and mend their soul.
