As a multi-sport athlete, I was always interested in the science of human movement. I was intrigued by the fitness and the psychology of optimal performance. As a younger trainer, I was focused on working primarily with athletes, but over time I had the opportunity to watch my mom endure a really dark stint of depression. It was her experience with depression and anxiety, and her eventual (drug-free) climb out of the rabbit hole that inspired me to pour myself into assisting the general population.
I'm not a braggadocious person so I'll just say that this is my love. It's my passion. This isn't a part-time gig that I do to pick up extra cash. I've been in this industry for almost 30 years! Most trainers give up and find another trade within the first few years because working with people is challenging and running your own business can be a roller coaster. I help people achieve optimal well-being because it fills my soul to know that I've helped another human realize their power.
