What do you love most about your job?

I love entertaining and serving people. I am very fond of all the weddings and events that I have performed over my 30 years in the business. I have been blessed and successful that every single wedding and event I have performed has been outstanding. My clients are just the best to work with and their reviews on my service is heartfelt and truly appreciated. I spend a minimum of 15-30 hours on each event before it happens. The results show in the outcome of each event. And, my clients are loyal and keep coming back. Attention to their details is my number one priority. Communication is key. Executing and exceeding their expectations is truly my number one goal.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My dad Ron Eicher inspired me when I was young to start my own business. He was a business owner who owned a restaurant. I started from the bottom as a buss boy, to dishwasher, to making pizza, to delivering pizza, to bartender, then catering. I started my own lawn care business at 9 years old, then went into detailing cars, and then the music business. I started deejaying at 17 years old performing private events. Just after my senior year of high school at 18 years old I performed my first wedding at the Prado in Balboa Park. I created Unique Mobile Sounds in 1986 and honed my skills in public speaking while taking college courses in speech and communication. It was the customer interaction, service and attention to details that my dad had and the results he would get from being a genuine and fair businessman.

My typical process for working with new customers is to make sure that they and I have all pre-planned details and information to help make their day the best ever. Preliminary itineraries and music resources to customizing their day. Meetings, follow-up emails, and attention to their details to lead and guide them to a worry free event. Final meetings to ensure all details are correct. I show up early and I am always prepared and ready to serve each and every customer. The energy, and attention to every detail creates an experience that is memorable and meaningful to you and all your guests.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?

The best kept secret to keeping a party dancing all night long is having my clients customize their music list for their best night ever. Being able to play, mix and stack music at the right time during the event is key. Though, before all that, hosting their event is key in including and acknowledging all guests before dancing begins. Without being a microphone junkie, delivering details and communication in a personal way, approaching guests and really making them feel more VIP than they already are helps, inspires, and motivates them to participate in dancing.

How would you describe your ‘style’?

My style of entertaining is unique, classy, fun, and professional. Presentations on the microphone are key when it comes to representing my client. Creating heartfelt announcements without using any hooks on the microphone leave long lasting impressions and memories that will last a lifetime.
It tells a story and engages guests to want to participate in the event. I am always present and alert to ensure that every guests has the best time.
My goal is to exceed the expectations of my clients and to make sure that they are delighted with the outcome of their event.
