I'm a wedding / civil ceremony photographer, based in Derry, Northern Ireland, right beside the border with Donegal, Ireland. I adopt a natural and candid approach to wedding photography. My aim is to simply capture real moments as they happen, with little fuss and no interference; allowing your photographs to tell the unique story of your day. This approach of Documentary / Reportage / Photo-journalistic wedding photography allows couples to spend as much time on their wedding day with their friends & family as possible.

JP provided an excellent service and got some fantastic shots of my family for my kids First Communion and Confirmation this year. On both occasions, he arrived early to look for good locations and spent a lot of time getting a variety of shots with us. He likes to use his initiative and expertise to direct the party but also listens to you, as the customer, to make sure you get the photos you want. Very speedy turnaround afterwards in getting you the photos too. Excellent service overall.

Before our ceremony, we took full advantage of a ‘First Look’ photo shoot. I have to say a huge thank you to our wonderful photographers, Lisa & Chris, for the way they orchestrated the shoot. With such talent they were able to stand at a safe distance capturing it all, but allowing us to experience the intimate moments we wanted. It truly was magical and one of my favourite parts of the day was having that time together, and we even used some of the time to practice our first dance along the river!

Neil’s work looked amazing but his personality completely sold us as we wanted someone professional yet relaxed and to have a bit of craic with while snapping our day!
