I got a bouquet of flowers for my husband from flower pixies, as it was our anniversary. I left it up to her artistic talents and gave her the colour scene I wanted. Wow was I impressed with what was delivered. It was stunning!!!! Thank you so much and it was lovely to meet your family on Saturday when I came in. They are as lovely as your flower arrangements.

Thank you Suzy for this gorgeous bouquet! I asked for artificial so I could keep them longer and not worry about them dying! (I’m not very green fingered!) They go perfectly in the living room. I didn’t have to wait long at all! Suzy asked what colours and flowers I like and after passing on a few suggestions, what she delivered was absolutely perfect! Love them! Would recommend x

Petals From Paula is an independent florist in Kinghorn. We create beautiful fresh flower displays for weddings, funerals and all events as well as deliver bouquets to the Burntisland, Kinghorn and Kirkcaldy area of Fife.
Working as s florist is much harder work than most people imagine. It involves early starts, a lot of physical lifting of heavy props and displays and we usually work in the cold. However, it is also gloriously beautiful! Even at your lowest ebb, flowers never fail to sooth the soul, make you feel brighter and smell gorgeous! What a wonderful way to spend our working days as florists.
After working for another florist, and reading about some of the well known florists such as Jane Packer who were my inspiration, I knew I wanted to start up for myself. I did my research, joined lots of forums online and took the leap into being my own boss. It was a leap of faith and was hard work to get started but also very rewarding to be my own boss.
Everything I do with my work is done with the belief that I must always give my best. There are lots of florists out there so I need to make sure that my work stands out from the pack. I also believe in being kind to people -it just makes the job so much more pleasant to get on with my customers and maybe make one or two friends along the way.
During COVID restrictions I am doing contactless deliveries.
Any consultations for funeral or wedding work can be done by email and telephone or video link.
We are not doing face to face consultations at present but all our delivery services are still available.
