Conversations Of Change Gestalt Therapy & Coaching The only people we can change are ourselves. Coaching, Psychotherapy and Counselling offer an incredible opportunity to help us to look more deeply at how we are in the world and to unravel the ties that bind us, for a richer, warmer, healthier and more successful life. I am trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy, which gives me an understanding of what can make people tick and how to support change & growth and I have a long experience of working with individuals and organisations in doing just that. I receive regular supervision and adhere to the codes of practice adopted by BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) So whether you are considering major life decisions, resolving relationship issues, building your inner strength, developing your career or just aiming to be happier, I can help. Wondering how to go about engaging in a conversation with me? It’s easy. We will start with a free exploratory session to get to the nitty gritty. From there we will talk and solidify your needs and wants and start planning a way forward. You can access my support in whatever way suits you, Generally I would suggest meeting on a regular basis for maybe 6-12 weeks, but just a couple of sessions might be enough for you, and some people may want and need longer term support. . Each session lasts between 50-60 minutes. Let’s start the conversation. Karen
When a client realises, within just a few weeks, what has been holding him or her back, that is precious. The freedom and release is tremendous, Old, weighty habits and patterns that belong in the past, can be left there to provide a brighter future.
I have always been interested in what makes for a good life, a good relationship, a good company, a good society....and I have worked with individuals, teams and organisations to do just that.
I am pragmatic, clear sighted, and warm. I don't feel that therapy and counselling needs to be complicated nor long winded, but it can at times be painful. You need someone who can help you to see how you might change things, and the compassion and support you need to step out of old habits.
I am happy to work online or remotely. I have been surprised at how well this works.
Indeed, mainly I have worked remotely since March 2020. For the occasional client I visit, or welcome, the rooms are well aired, cleaned through at the end of each session and spaced 2m apart. Hand sanitiser is made available, and masks can be worn or not at the client's request.
