We specialise in internal refurbishment, renovation and fitouts projects for both residential and commercial properties. I have been in the trade for almost 15 years. Our team have a combined wealth of almost 50 years + of experience in the trade. We recently completed a 5 bedroom house in Ruislip, and coming to the end of our current project in Clayhall, 2 bedroom loft conversion.
Extensions can take many forms: from single or multi-storey extensions, to conservatories and sunrooms, each extension is different. Even if you’re extending a house that is identical to one you have worked on before, the customer’s criteria are probably not going to be the same. One customer may want French doors while another may want bi-folding, so the challenge is always new with each extension. However, the majority of property extensions involve flooring, bricklaying, door and window installation, electrical work, and decorating. For bathroom and kitchen extensions, plumbing is also a key factor.
Pretty much any part of your home can be extended. As such, you can include additional features to your extension that would benefit that particular space or room. You may want to include a skylight in your kitchen extension. Or, you may need to include advanced ventilation in a basement conversion. Perhaps you need extra insulation for a rear extension that receives little sunlight. Whatever extras you may need, be sure to discuss these with your builder before any building work begins.
I have a core construction team of eight builders and a wider network of trusted tradespeople, such as electricians, carpenters, and plumbers. I also regularly work with several architects and construction engineers who are able to assist in extension designs and building plans. In my three decades in the construction industry, I have been fortunate enough to build a great team of builders around me, as well as take on five apprentices. While we have the necessary industry qualifications, experience really is the most important thing in the construction industry.
