My son has been going to Genie Tutor for over a year and has grown in confidence in maths and English. The tutors are very professional and helpful. I really like how you have a report at the end of each session as to how they performed at the session.
I have recommended to friends who also now use Genie. Thanks for all your help.

I contacted Tash at Limitless Learning a few months before my daughter was due to take her GCSE Maths. She was recommended by another person. My D struggled with Maths but needed a grade 7 to get into her A Level course. She was getting grade 5/low 6 in her assessments. My D enjoyed working with Tash and said Tash helped her make sense of it. When my D took her GCSE in June, we would have been happy with a 6 - she got an 8!!! We cannot thank Tash enough for her help and cannot recommend her highly enough.

We offer 1:1 and small group tutoring in your home or at an agreed location. We work with a range of young people across Birmingham and the Black Country, who are not attending mainstream school (for whatever reason). We work with parents (carers) to develop an education plan that is both sensible and affordable. Many families can run the plan themselves without a tutor attending daily but do have a tutor come in for a couple of hours a week to support the learning process.
Hello, I have just finished my PGCE Secondary Science course and am looking for tutees who need help in science. I am happy to teach Biology up to A-level, Chemistry for GCSE and Physics up to KS3. I would also like to teach German as that is my first language and I rarely use it since I moved to the UK. And despite it being my first language I am familiar with grammar etc! So, please get in touch!

I support English at KS1 and KS2 level. This is covering primary school children aged between 5 - 11. All lessons are held online through Zoom. Due to lessons being online I am able to take on pupils nationally. All lessons are carefully planned for each child's needs and will have their own individual learning plan. I am flexible with my availability. Each child will have a free first lesson to introduce ourselves and carry out an assessment.

I cannot describe how wonderful Tina was with my 6 year old daughter. I was rather apprehensive about a zoom tutor session given my daughters age but Tina made it easy & our little girl enjoyed every moment. She has learnt so much & really helped her catch up with her phonics & reading in general. Thank you so much for all your help :)

After 30 years as a primary school teacher, I decided to become a private tutor working with individual children. I have set up Be More Moxie, Worcestershire with the philosophy that I want to provide children with the confidence to tackle the obstacles they will come across in their school life. I started my career in London where I led Science in my school and then specialised in teaching SEN children in small groups in schools with disadvantaged children.
Throughout my tutoring experience, one highlight has definitely been teaching Geography, Maths and English classes in Shandong, China of ages 11 to 17 year olds. In my experience, I specialise in teaching English as a second language and I have a concise, patient and understanding approach to students of all ages and abilities. My academics have been strong, and I have achieved a 2:1 in Economics and Human Geography accomplishing a 1st in my dissertation.

Have a look at my website to find out what I specialise in! www.fischerriding.wordpress.com Please note that I don't have horses that are suitable for riding lessons. You must have your own horse or borrow/loan a horse to have a lesson with me.
I am very passionate about teaching: a good education enables you to succeed in life. What that success looks like is up to every individual, but I love to help you to explore your talents and what success is for YOU.
Of course I love my subjects! I think the sciences are very exciting as they explain the world around you up to a certain degree. Plus there are practicals which makes it fun! There are even some simple practicals that you could do at home!
And I love my language. German is very difficult to learn but when you get the grasp of it there are wonderful phrases and word plays. I want to help you to discover all those things during the learning process!
Schools often struggle to do all students justice (that is not the school's fault - it's just what happens when you teach loads of students at once). I want to help those who might struggle to learn effectively in a school setting or just need a bit more time or individual explanations to access the content. That is why I am now here.
My subject knowledge is excellent and I can explain the content in many different ways to ensure that you or your child can understand it. I also believe that literacy and numeracy are important skills that I will focus on along the subject content.
But as far as I am concerned teaching is not only about the subject content and academic skills. It is also about character education: building confidence, resilience, being passionate and empathetic.
