Highly recommend Paige. She is an amazing teacher. She listens to my daughters needs and has helped her progress. Paige has belief in my daughter, which has helped my daughters confidence. Paige is an lovely lady, she just seems to have the right balance in getting the best out of my daughter.
She provides support when my daughter needs it. When my daughter is having an breakdown because she thinks she can’t do something, Paige will help and support her and show her how she can do it and that she can do it. Paige is able to break things down to make it easier for my daughter to understand. We are so lucky to have Paige in our lives.

My daughter started with Carol during the second term of her maths GCSE, she was really struggling to the point of feeling totally lost and feeling maths wasn't for her. My daughter made huge progress quickly and by her final year had been moved from the foundation to the GCSE group. She gained the grade she needed and regained her confidence and great learning skills that now serve her across all subjects. My daughter also consolidated and improved her English skills with Carols' support and gained a top grade.
I'm a qualified Maths teacher and I provide 121 online Maths tuitions with teaching and learning styles to match your needs. Don't worry if you have had tuitions by online before, I can help and guide you to using google classroom and google meet.

Maya is an excellent and skilful tutor, she has supported me through the two years of the gcse course where significant improvements were seen with my grades which had led to me achieve top grades in chemistry and physics. She is able to outline your difficulties and carefully adjusts her teaching methods to help you secure your understanding. She also focuses on different aspects of exam technique within her sessions, which is especially vital. I’m continuing with her for A Level also.

My daughter has her last GCSE tomorrow and to be honest without the help of two fantastic science tutors through “New Wave education” I’m not so sure she would have handled the science exams as well as she has. She was really struggling 9 months back and so glad we made the decision to give her extra help. If anyone’s son/daughter is struggling with a particular subject I highly recommend contacting New Wave Education

Feedback from parents ...Thank you for the wonderful work you are doing with Latisha. Its wonderful to see how she has and continues to move on in her studies. Latisha has developed so much confidence that even with her home work she is able to do it without any assistance from us. Thank you once again. I am a qualified maths teacher. I would be delighted to help you with your maths, I teach from primary level up to Higher GCSE . I have a First Class degree in Education as well as an OU Certificate in Maths and have 20 years teaching and tutoring experience. I am able to teach from the absolute basics, using arrays, cubes, images, number lines and chanting together to learn the times tables, to sketching quadratic graphs, completing the square, vectors and histograms for Higher GCSE students. It's all good fun! As an overview of what I offer, I will tailor tuition around your needs based on an initial hour where we will go through key questions or a GCSE paper together. We can identify sticking points together and I will break them down to the simplest level for you and find or construct similar questions to the exam paper for you to fully master where you were stuck. My aim is to provide a friendly happy tuition service, where you feel confident and empowered by the end of each session. I am a trained Youth Mindfulness instructor so maths with me is never stressful! My 2023 GCSE students exceeded their school target grades with great results. I am very proud of them all. I have a collection of reviews on my website from students and parents. The main message seems to be how much more confident and relaxed my students are after tuition, and that I am a happy motivational teacher. Please do get in touch if you feel I can help. Best wishes and happy learning! Alison
Witnessing young people grow in confidence and lose their fear of maths
The realisation that working one to one with students is the most effective way to maximise their potential and create a personalised learning environment where the teaching is directly targeted at their 'zone of proximal development'.
I am dedicated to creating a personalised learning experience for each student. I have taught maths in Secondary schools for the past 20 years. My experience ranges from teaching all primary year groups and all secondary school ages to teaching adult learners! My Primary Education degree training specialising in maths means that I can break any concept down to its simplest level. I have also studied Maths and Maths Education with the Open University as such I am confident in teaching at GCSE level and with using different pedagogical approaches to teach the subject.
My aim is to create an environment where each student feels at ease enough to absorb information. I believe if any learner feels anxious they are not likely to retain or learn anything new. Alongside maths my passion is caring for the emotional well being of young people. As such I have recently qualified as a Mindfulness teacher. This should reassure any nervous or reluctant students that my overall aim is for them to leave tuition feeling calm as well as mathematically empowered!
