Growing up we had cats at home and there were always plenty of animals belonging to family and friends that I could play with. ​ Whilst I focused on gaining an education and forging a successful accounting career in London, I always studied and looked after pets as a hobby as well as having my own. In 2001 I started working for Guardian Angles looking after dogs/cats and other small mammals in peoples homes.
