My name is Sam and I'm an Online Personal Trainer & Behaviour Change Coach. I am a type 1 diabetic and I learned very early on in life the importance of looking after myself which meant prioritising my health & fitness and my mindset towards life. I work with busy, time-sensitive and often stressed individuals, who feel that they have let their health and fitness slide over the past few months and in some cases, even longer. Luckily I have never been in a position where I have been overweight, exhausted and experiencing the feeling of burnout from the demands of everyday life. This I put down to making greater informed choices around nutrition and developing a sustainable routine with exercise. I have, however, worked with many who experience low energy levels, dislike the way they look and feel in their own clothes and have poor habits surrounding their nutrition and fitness. Does this sound familiar? The most rewarding part of my job is getting the feedback from those who have transformed their lives with me helping them every step of the way.

There really isn't anything else i'd rather do than help someone step into the best version of themself.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As a type 1 diabetic, I have to prioritise my health and fitness. My health has always been paramount to me. The goals I have achieved within my own health and fitness, and also others such as friends and family, has allowed me to realise the path I want to take in life - helping others.

No more needing to meet outside or in a fitness facility at a specific day and time, battling conditions such as weather, traffic and not to mention the availibility of kit in the gym. Online coaching gives you more freedom, flexibility and the ability to focus on many more areas than just exercise.
