I am a qualified Primary school teacher and Senco. I am passionate about children's well-being and mental health and believe that it is important that a child is happy and confident before they can meet their learning potential. My name is Julian Wiseman and I offer a 1:1 On-Line mathematics tuition service. I specialise in Higher Tier GCSE and A level Mathematics. I have run the business since 2002 and prior to this I taught in a mainstream secondary school 1989-2002. My ideal client would be a student who is looking to achieve a Grade 7-9 at GCSE, go onto to take A level Maths leading to a degree in a highly numerate discipline.

I am a former Assistant Head teacher and Head of Maths within a secondary school. Unlike other tutoring websites which simply act as the go between to introduce a tutor they do not know personally to a tutee and take commission. I am the owner as well as the Maths tutor that would tutor your child. I have worked in schools and privately tutored for the past 13 years with great success at getting the best out of my pupils.

We all know how much easier it is to learn when we are interested, engaged and challenged; this is why I plan all my lessons with these three aims in mind. Whether your child needs support with their English and Maths OR they are taking on the 11+/Kent/Medway Test, I will do all I can to prepare, resource and deliver pacy lessons that keep them on their toes! When appropriate, I will include a practical, experimental element to my lessons.

I have been teaching at a school in Welling, Kent for the past 9 years and am currently 2ic in Maths teaching KS3 and KS4 maths. I have a lot of experience with GCSE maths.

Bachelors graduate in Economics from the University of Bristol, currently in the process of studying to become a full-time teacher, strong knowledge of English, Economics & Maths curriculum up to A-Level and Physics / Biology up to GCSE.
