Jackson's Maths Tuition

Whether your child finds mathematics difficult or loves the subject and needs to be stretched and challenge, I can support them in their journey!   Hi, My name is  Felicia Jackson, I have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics education, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and DBS enhanced, and I'm also a GCSE Examiner. I have over 10 years of experience teaching mathematics and 5 years teaching online to high school and secondary students, with an emphasis on key stage 3 and GCSE maths. I'm a secondary school teacher at an academy in South East London, having a teacher leading role of Key Stage 4 Coordinator. One of the main duty in my role is to plan and prepare key stage 4 students to pass their GCSE exams. I've worked with clients of all ages in order to help them discover their full potential while taking on an approach highlighting patience and self-encouragement. Through my unique and personalized approach, my students are able to develop study habits and effective learning strategies that last. My greatest joy is watching students succeed and unlock their own potential. I have been offering comprehensive and affordable private lessons to many families. From day one, my students notice an improvement in their abilities and overall comprehension. Each student has a unique learning style, and it’s my duty to find out what that is and adapt my lessons accordingly. Contact me today to find out how I can help you achieve your academic goals. I look forward to hearing from you.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is the fact that I am making a difference in the lives of my students. They look to me for inspiration and motivation. Knowing that I can give that to them means the world to me. Greatest feeling ever!

What inspired you to start your own business?

My inspiration came from always wanting to help kids achieve their best. My love for teaching started when I was just a kid myself. I would always give a helping hand in my community to those that needed the help. That became an integral part of who I am today- always giving.
