Epiphany Building Solutions was recommended to us by Exeter Magnet Kitchens as a Magnet approved kitchen fitter; we were advised by Magnet that they are one of their most experienced fitters. We opted to use the Magnet kitchen design and supply service, and to employ the kitchen fitter privately rather than having a “Magnet kitchen fit” included in the price of the kitchen. We sourced our flooring and stone wall tiles from a different specialist supplier. Richard and his team were a pleasure to have work for us at our home to fit our new high-spec kitchen including laying limestone flooring, fitting new lighting in the ceiling and under cabinets, perfectly fitted kitchen cabinets, all electrical sockets, integrated appliances including very tidy plumbing, marble stone tiling, granite worktop, etc. Richard was happy to liaise with the stone flooring and tiles company regarding their recommendations and specifications for the correct preparation, fitting, and finish of their products. We are really pleased with our perfectly fitted kitchen. Richard was friendly and honest and was happy to discuss details of the project from start to finish and he clearly understood the Magnet kitchen products and the design plans. He listened carefully to our requirements and specifications and ensured that we got exactly what we wanted, but was also willing to use his experience to discuss and advise if he felt that a different option may be better. He also gave a timeline for the various stages of the project so that we could plan our day to day lives around that accordingly and we knew what to expect (and apart from a bit of a delay on the cutting and preparation of our bespoke granite worktops, which was unexpected and out of Richard’s control), the timeline which he gave was pretty much spot on. Very professional with fully itemised quotes, etc. Richard was more than happy to be contacted to advise and sort out a minor issue a couple of months after the job was completed, so good customer care. We felt comfortable to trust Richard and his team in our home. Richard does not do a ‘cheap job’; but our experience was that you get what you pay for, and we were more than happy to agree his quote. A reasonable deposit was paid, an interim payment half way through the job, and we were happy to pay the remainder in full on completion.
