I have a really diverse background in canine handling training and behaviour. I have trained dogs for police departments as well as sports such as flyball. I also have trained humans to enjoy their dogs on walks. I am qualified in animal behaviour and husbandry. I can help you with anything from walking the dog, to dog aggression to stopping jumping. I use positive dog training methods.
I offer behaviour consultations for dogs, cats & horses with behaviour problems such as aggression, phobias and separation anxiety. I only use positive, evidence-based techniques so that you're getting the very best for your animal ~ behaviour therapy with love. I completed a Masters degree in animal behaviour and went on to lecture in companion animal & equine behaviour and welfare, teaching others to be behaviourists too.

I am currently gaining work experience with Rachel. She is fully qualified and extremely knowledgeable. The way she rehabilitates dogs with behavioural difficulties is very professional and effective. Rachel has had amazing results by providing an indepth examination with positive reinforment to dog and one to one guidance for owner. I have learnt some amazing skills and training by working with her and promote this service highly.
Specialized in dogs, cats and other pets behaviours. We visit your home for a better clinical assessment of the animal in its natural environment. We also provide advise to veterinarians who treat pet behavior problems which helps the owner to better coexistence with the animal. Phobias, aggressiveness, anxiety, inadequate urination, vocalizations, training, behavioral modification programs, education … Many times the problems are not understood by the owner so let yourself be guided in a better approach …
I’m an animal behaviour clinician with over 18 years of experience, and I specialise in trauma and aggression. I have a Master’s degree in animal behaviour and I only use ethical, kind and evidence-based methods. I used to run a degree in applied animal behaviour teaching students the knowledge requirements for certification as clinical animal behaviourists and set up a referral practice so students could get practical experience.

I completed a Masters degree in animal behaviour and went on to lecture in companion animal & equine behaviour and welfare, teaching others to be behaviourists too. I set up a referral clinic so students could gain practical experience and I have been doing behaviour consultations ever since. My ethos is very much about the relationship between you. I adore my animals and when they are unhappy or have specific behaviour problems it can be stressful, even frightening for you. I will always treat you and your animal with compassion.
Obviously seeing the improvement as pets progress through treatment is amazing, but also the relief when owners realise their pet isn't 'naughty' or 'nasty', when they understand how a problem has developed and is maintained.
I loved my collie Domino and he was nearly killed by another dog and developed serious behaviour problems. I already had a degree in Psychology and had completed modules on animal learning and cognition as part of that and did my dissertation on how horses learn. I was really fortunate to be able to do a Masters and just absolutely loved everything about the subject of animal behaviour and, of course, being able to help my boy. I got a job running a degree in applied animal behaviour so was teaching companion animal & equine behaviour, doing research and doing consultations to give students practical experience and when I left that job I didn't want to stop consulting so carried on!
I understand how stressful and scary it can be when a pet has a behaviour problem, but more importantly I truly understand how much you love them because I love mine in the same way! That's very much at the heart of what I do and only ever use kind, science-based methods so that you can have absolute confidence in the treatment plan.
