I was recently recommended to see Munir by a family member due to suffering some back pains.
Within a few minutes of my appointment Munir new exactly what was wrong and explained it very well. I visited twice and I am now pain free. Munir has said there is no need to return unless I am in pain again, he doesn't just want your money... he is there to help you!

As a Neurodivergent counsellor, who was diagnosed very late in life, I have a good understanding of what it feels like to go through life feeling a little out of sync with people around you. My training and experience has shown me the importance of being heard by someone who won’t judge, how a different perspective can show life in a completely different light, and how connecting with the right people, and disconnecting from the wrong ones, can bring significant improvements in life. My aim is to offer this, and more, to you. If you have reach a point where you know something feels wrong, or you are noticing repeated themes in life, or you want to understand you and your life better, this could be a great time to reach out for support. Many people think you have to be in crisis to seek counselling, or question whether talking to someone can make any difference. Counselling during crisis can be hugely beneficial, but you do not have to get to this point in order for this to be worth trying. As for talking to someone, being heard by someone without judgement and being free to say everything you don’t feel you can say elsewhere, is healing in itself. Having someone offer a different perspective, or give you new strategies for dealing with situations, or more clarity about things in general, can be life changing. I offer a free initial session to give you the chance to tell me a little more about what you would like support with, and so you can get a feel for whether I could be the right counsellor for you. Not every counsellor works the same way, and just like people in the rest of your life, you won’t feel the same about every counsellor. You need to find the right person for you, and I encourage you to meet as many as you need to until you find your person.
As a counsellor I feel I am in a very privileged position that people feel they can come to me for support. I have always enjoyed working with people and and grateful that I am able to use my own experiences to support others.
I enjoy the freedom to work in a way that suits both me and my clients. I am able to set my own hours which allows me more flexibility than I had previously. Being in private practice allows me to decide how I want to work with my clients and gives me the space to shape how I work according to my clients' needs.
I offer a confidential, honest, client-led counselling service and will aim to work in a way that gives my clients the encouragement to talk freely, without being judged. I am human first and offer my support in real and authentic ways. As a senior accredited member of National Counselling Society, I adhere to their ethical guidelines on how to work safely with clients. I attend regular supervision to enable me to continue wo work ethically and in the best interests of my clients.
Whilst face to face work is most popular, I also offer remote sessions either by video conferencing, such as Zoom, Vsee, Skype etc and on the telephone. Distance does not need to be a limitation on you choosing the right counsellor for you.
Covid-19 brought many everyday changes to all our lives, including how I work and how I manage my working space. Remote work has become more regular than it was previously, and this will remain an option if you feel safer working this way.
