Welcome to Netherfield Guitar Tutor, I am Oliver Hyndman I have a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Music Practice (3 Distinctions) and a NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Music Technology. I am also a fully CRB/DBS checked guitar teacher with 16 years of practical experience and 15 years of teaching experience. I teach Adults and Children from absolute beginners to advanced students helping them improve in a fun way.

Whether you want to learn Electric, Acoustic, Bass or Classical Guitar for your own pleasure or enjoyment, I’d be pleased to count you among my students and delighted to offer you an unparalleled guitar learning experience which you deserve and will greatly benefit from.

As a practicing musician, teacher and composer, I ensure that my students are always being taught in a fully musical context. From day one my students are encouraged to be musicians and to develop skills that will enable them to play actual pieces of music. Each lesson is tailored to the student, enabling them to fully benefit from every guitar lesson both short and long term.

Learning to play the guitar should be an enjoyable, creative and enriching experience. Keeping students enthusiastic and motivated whilst continually developing their practical & theoretical skills.

All my students lessons are bespoke and tailored to their individual needs and wants, so if you want to learn something specific, all you have to do is ask. This enables you to fully benefit from every guitar lesson both short and long term. This makes for quick progress!
