Well, where do we even begin This was the most perfect wedding venue with even more perfect hosts. Peridot and Jeremy were fantastic from start to finish and they helped us achieve our dream day. ||||The night before our wedding the bride (myself) and some of my bridal party stayed in the cottage and this is where we got ready in the morning. The cottage itself was so lovely and perfect for a little self catering get away! The rooms are well decorated and you can see the care and love that goes in to looking after their property. We had bacon rolls hand delivered in the morning which was perfect for us! ||||We are so grateful to peridot and Jeremy for their kindness and knowledge they have when it comes to helping couples for their day, they give you as much privacy as you require on your special day, however, we loved them so much we got them over to celebrate with us! ||||We used all of the rooms on our day and our family absolutely loved them, some of our family stayed on a little longer in the loft and had nothing but positives to say, with three bedrooms and a living area space they had all they needed and with the barn not being a million miles from the local town they had plenty to see and do. ||||We have nothing but positive words and feedback for the dairy barn and their bed and breakfast facilities, we would recommend it over and over again, from a family get away to the wedding venue of dreams they have a little bit of something for everyone in a wonderful countryside location. We went to view The Old Dairy Farm in the summer of 2016 and fell in love with the venue straight away. For the price you are permitted to use the venue for 3 days. So we got in on the Friday before the wedding to dress the hall, we got married on 28/07/18 and celebrated on the Saturday, and then had the most gorgeous Sunday tidying everything up... ||Peridot & Jeremy are the owners and they are the most fantastic of hosts! Nothing was too much for them and they were always on hand for advice. I can’t praise both them and the venue enough! ||There are enough rooms to sleep 16 people so I stayed on site in the Calf Shed which is an on-site cottage with my bridesmaids on the Friday night. It was just perfect and on the morning of the wedding we were presented with bacon baps and fruit for breakfast! The wedding day was just indescribable and was completely stress free... And on the Sunday Peridot laid out a breakfast spread for the wedding guests that had also rented the other rooms. ||As I said this venue really made our wedding and everybody commented on how beautiful it was!! We were guests at a wedding where the reception was held here in the beautifully converted barn. The "Old Dairy" , Hatherden Farm is just over 3 miles due north of Andover, set in amazing countryside and opposite the Old Crown and Bell pub - see separate review. ||The owners Peridot and Jeremy are just the most welcoming and accommodating people - other businesses should take note. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They love to chat and will sort anything out that you may need. The accommodations are just so tastefully done and the furnishings give a homely feeling to everything. We had a room above the "dining room" with a beautifully comfortable bed and lovely shower and bathroom en suite. The rest of the upper story is a collection of farming ephemera - a hobby of Jeremy's. Downstairs was a lovely kitchen we could use and the dining room itself was just like a big old farm dining area. They laid on a superb English breakfast for about a dozen of us on the Sunday morning. The other accommodations consist of other rooms in building conversions plus two botheys (shepherds "caravans") but of a superior standard. One has a balcony were you can sit and take the country air. The old cowshed is also converted and has an enormous lounge area. Currently price is £90 per night regardless of which room / bothie you get allocated. - a total bargain and outstanding value.||The barn where the wedding reception was perfect for the 80 or so guests that turned up to celebrate the wedding and I know the bride and groom were just bowled over by it.||I can't praise the owners enough. My partner lost a piece of jewellery in the grounds and despite searching we couldn't find it. Jeremy has arranged for a chap to come in with a metal detector to see if they can retrieve it.||One last comment. They have two dogs and I fell in love with "Ottie" a border terrier. She had had a bad start in life but now lives in the lap of luxury at the farm.||Jeremy & Peridot - just keep doing what you are doing. We will most certainly be back.||||WiFi could be better but you are in rural England! More...

When we started looking for our wedding venue we wanted somewhere with accommodation, a big open space we could make our own and that was local to our church in Andover. My mum found the barn and the moment we arrived we fell in love.||The barn itself is beautifully decorated with lots of original features but also some quirky twists. A glittery cow, an old fashioned post box set in the wall and a copper bar, not to mention a full sized highland cow on the balcony. It's just brilliant. The space was still large enough we could put our own stamp on it with all the touches that were already there.||The rooms are just beautiful. Each decorated to such a high standard but all individual and our guests fell in love with the calf shed!||I cannot praise Peridot and Jeremy highly enough. The moment we met them it felt like they were family and opened us into their home with warm open arms. Nothing was too much trouble and throughout the whole adventure we were supported and helped on the way. On the morning of the wedding they brought round bacon sandwiches and made sure everything went superbly. My husband and I stayed here for a wedding and we honestly had the best time! The venue was not only perfect and beautiful for the whole wedding weekend, but our accommodations were fantastic! Waking up each morning to a beautiful view of the hayfield from the bed was so romantic. The owners always made sure we had all we needed for breakfast, and checked on us daily to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The wedding also went off without a hitch. Entering the reception, we were greeting by staff with a choice of Warm cider (in a milk bottle, and straw) or a mix of a refreshing Gin & Elderflower drink (REALLY REFRESHING!)||After everyone had arrived we were brought out (what seemed to be an unlimited amount of canopes), I think I tried each different sort (about 6-8 different sorts).||we were taken to our tables and sat down on tables of 8 people with a long table for the bride/groom/parents/in-laws)||The meal consisted of wine (which was plentiful) and a salmon and cheese starter. VERY WELL presented and tasted really freshly cooked and lots of flavours.||The rack of lamb, mine was nice and pink and tender and slipped off the bone.||The trio of deserts I tried and found them a bit too rich (especially the chocolate), I want to emphasise I am not a desert person! Those with a sweet tooth will not be disappointed!!||After the food, drinks and tables were cleared promptly and the disco started and the "dancing moves" were out! haha!||Nice touch was the photo booth and I have just found my photo picture (which isn't a great picture tbh so I will not be sharing)!||Highly recommended location!! The party could go on as long as we liked providing the music finished at midnight which meant here was no pressure on the day. They also allowed us to take photographs in their private garden which was the perfect couple time away from everyone else.
