We are an 8 piece band that play swing, old school rhythm and blues and jive and play the classics as well as swing versions of modern pop songs.

Price of My Pig ceilidhs
Ben Farmer calls an excellent ceilidh with easy to follow instructions that people with no prior experience can pick up, but are still exciting for the experienced ceilidh goer, with many places to add flourishes. He calls a variety of types of dance: waltzes, polkas, reels and the occasional Israeli dance. He includes popular moves such as stripping the willow, the basket and threading the needle. Price of My Pig ceilidhs are called with enthusiasm and an excellent sense of humour, making the dances fun for all ages, from children to retired. I must have been to half a dozen Price of My Pig ceilidhs this year and have enjoyed every one.

They play original material with catchy, melodic, sharp and generally joyful songs, designed to lift the audience's spirits, interspersed with classic covers. Joe Mishra, the song writer has been creatively writing for over 10 years and the songs are based on real life events and emotions.

Had the pleasure of Kaya playing at a recent fundraiser I held. From the outset it was a pleasure to speak with Joe to get the gig arranged, he was really professional and the booking and arrangement went really smooth.
On the night the KAYA, we’re excellent and everyone had a great night! Joe and the rest of the band were really friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them at all.
We definitely got value for money as they were excellent!

1. When we asked High Row music to help us with our wedding music we were completely unprepared for the exceptional quality of both bands! Strung Together provided the music for the wedding itself and the drinks reception afterwards. What an amazing band!! Their ability to put their own twist on the latest songs is unbeatable, they helped create a lovely relaxing atmosphere suitable for any garden party, just what you want when talking to guests.
In the evening the rock performance given by The Beats had everybody on the dance floor. They were truly sensational and far better than we could have ever imagined! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to! We weren't looking for a typical "wedding band" sound and was absolutely delighted with the complete professionalism and talent shown by both bands! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you helped make our wedding and we highly recommend High Row Music to anyone considering using them for their wedding music! Yvonne & Mike, "The Palmers"
2. The band were absolutely incredible - I cannot rate them highly enough! The dance floor was full nearly all night which was exactly what we had hoped for and this is largely because of them! We have had so many comments from guests to say what a great band they were! They really were amazing and they were lovely guys too - I am glad they enjoyed it and id be grateful if you could pass on our thanks :)
Equally, the string quartet were amazing too! Their music is just fantastic, they played what we had wanted and they sounded so beautiful in the church.
We loved both of them and were so happy with our choices - I would highly recommend both the band and the quartet to anyone that asked!
