Me and my wife purchased a property at the start of this month and it did need a lot of work, the windows all needed to go, the walls were in such a horrible state with cracking and the flooring all needed to be replaced. We at first had a little bit of an idea of what we wanted but Ross helped us pick out which paint colours we wanted for the house with his augmented reality software which showed us what each of our rooms will look like with the different paint colours and we didn't realise how different the vibe each colour gives off so in the end we picked chic shadow for the downstairs, and canon ball for the bedrooms ecstatic with how our home feels now with everything finished! Abdullah and his team repainted the walls and ceiling for our staircase that goes up from the ground floor, first floor and the loft. He worked on our home whilst we were on holiday and we were happy to have received weekly updates from our project coordinator Abdullah. All cracks were taken care of surfaces were sanded and prepared before painting. As a second job in our home, Tony painted the cabin in our garden and George replaced and painted a new wooden side gate for us. He recommended and used the best products to protect our wood. Wow i have never been so pleased with a purchase in my life. My whole house doesn’t look like a white shell of walls like it used to, now it’s as if i’m inside the best modern 5 star hotel. We were planning to completely refurbish our house so we wanted interior designers since we were certain that we wanted to get the most out of our renovation it’s ot often you do it so we wanted to squeeze as much juice out of this as possible. Our home was refurbished and extended back in 2019 so it all we needed a refresh on the paint for the whole house, very good job our house looks just as it was when we got it refurbed.

The team was outstanding. They transformed our ground floor by installing a fantastic kitchen with new flooring throughout. They also removed a wall to create an open-plan space and handled the structural engineering required for the project. Our home now feels like a showhome. Hashimi Projects designed our kitchen extension. This is our first house and we had bought a ‘project’ that we were keen to do up. While we are keen DIYers we had no experience when it came to building works and design. Abdullah and Ali were very knowledgeable about what we were allowed to do and explained the planning/permitted development process to us.
We didn’t have a big budget so using an architect was a big decision but we reasoned that if we were going to spend a large amount of money on constructing a big change on our home then we wanted to ensure we got something good and well planned so hiring Hashimi Projects ensured we got something special. Their technical expertise was fantastic and they spent the time going through what we wanted and also how the light worked in our house. The extension design that they came up with was different from anything we had considered but it works fantastically well and I’m so pleased we haven’t got a boring, bog standard extension ours doesn’t look like that at all. While they came up with lots of extra design features, they were still sympathetic to our budget. We didn’t go with all of their suggestions as we wanted to make some bold decisions in the rest of the house. They really helped us visualise what was possible by showing us images of other projects and buildings so we were able to understand where their ideas came from. Having never renovated our house before we were given the confidence by this company through the whole lifecycle of the project. We worked most closely with Abdullah, but also with a few of other members of the team and were impressed by each and every one.

Abdullah listened carefully to our opening brief and aims for the project. At every stage we were presented with many options and ideas, all of which were in line with the aims we gave them. Their attention to detail was amazing, which has resulted in a beautiful and original design that really works for our home.

Everytime we contacted the company, they were always very responsive and available whenever we needed them. We had regular meetings to review progress and explore options when the stage required us to. Something which we valued a lot is that they were also always very upfront with overall project costs, and were very helpful in suggesting alternatives where applicable to keep our project on budget and time.

We couldn't be happier with the result of the renovation, and have no doubt that without the input of Hashimi Projects we would not have achieved such a beautifully designed and thought out side return kitchen extension that works so well for our family. We are currently halfway through renovating and extending our terrace based up in East London, a process we began with Hashimi Projects as our architects and planning agents 7 months ago.

As complete newcomers to design and construction, my wife and I have greatly benefited from Hashimi Projects’ proactive guidance though every project stage so far, they’ve made our journey of creating our new home truly enjoyable.

After our consultation I laid down the deposit, the next day Abdullah returned to us with some drafted plans which was very impressive. We asked for some slight adjustments for the internal layouts but we were happy with the external elevations. In the final pack we were very pleased to receive a 3D look at our home accessible from a phone app this included an interactive virtual room design tour which was very impressive! Although they did tell us about the VR tour being included, we were still overwhelmed with how well our pending new house looks in VR. Additionally, they challenged our ideas, instead suggesting better design choices that maximise the results of the space.

Hashimi Projects also got us the approval after submitting our Design & Access Statement to Hackney council.

Since the construction work began, Hashimi Projects have managed the project exceptionally well, we’re receiving weekly updates.
